if @HanataSinti didnt work, find out what video card you have in ur comp i.e. nVidia GeForce 8400, and go to the manufacturers website and download the latest driver for your video card. If the install of your video card driver fails, you may have to update windows installer. I did it just like this after minecraft had been running perfectly for 2 months. it now works WAY better than it did before, no lag or errors... Im running on a computer I bought used in 2004

Er that other coment was not very understandable so I'm just gona tell you the easy way you click start button then Run... type "%appdata%" (without the ") open .minecraft folder and delete options file.. thats bout it but when you go on minecraft your gonna have to redo the settings if you have diff options

@TeamExation goto start which is located at the bottom left corner, and type in %appdata% and look for you .minecraft folder. then delete your .minecraft folder the whole thing, but before you delete your .minecraft folder, go to your saves folder and get all of your saves (those are your worlds) and put them on the desktop. then you can delete it. so delete it. then open up and play minecraft because it should be fixed. then if you want all your worlds back, put all your saves in the save file

i found a way to fix it =) but mine was from a texture pack, just get on firefox (yes you NEED firefox to fix this) redownload the texture pack click on open folder content then you can click on .minecraft and remove it, then it should work.

Click javaw.exe and End Process
