When you need to, go outside and pee on your yard. You won't have to waste water flushing the toilet. When you need to poop, pick a different shrub each time for maximum benefit. Use leaves as TP and you will save yet more money. Please be sure you have a privacy fence as your neighbors will likely have trouble understanding. If you don't have a fence, explain to them what you are doing and they may do it too! Help the planet, pee outside.

1: Cover each blade of grass with Macquire's Carnuba Car Wax. It will lessen the amount of water vapor lost into the atmosphere.

2: Install an underground cave system beneath your shrubs so that the roots will penetrate the ceiling. You can then lick each root bulb to keep them hydrated

3: Consider investing in future NASA missions to the moon in order to tap into the ice sheets recently found in its poles. Its like getting free water!

You need to do more research. Grass needs lots of water during the hottest point of the day.You don't swim in a pool at dawn to cool off. Hello.If you don't water heavy during the peak of the day all water is wasted. Fertilize several times a year. Twice is a waste don't even bother.

we'd have flash floods at my former college and the sprinklers would still be running constantly. we'd have 6 inch puddles all over the campus from the rain sometimes. not to mention you'd have to dodge the sprinklers when you'd be walking down the sidewalks (like dodging the moving fireballs in super mario brothers) talk about being inefficient.
