i would not waste my time and money with that wouxun radio, i rather pay a little more and
get a way better with the alinco. I never messed with the new alinco but they boast abs plastic ,
with would make that radio a little tank ! but I could be wrong, but I hate the wouxun.
I rather pay the additional 60 pounds.

i've messed with that radio and I couldn't handle not being to program it with out the cable, and light shutting off too fast . that really sucks.
@sweetgyy Who did you buy it off because my mic broke and I sent it back to radioshop888 who I bought it off and I got a new one back.

hello, am new to VHF radios. just want to ask how long is the range of communication in kms or miles of this radio? specifically from handheld to handheld radio. thanks

@ajoemar2009 The range can be from 10 - 100km + depending on buildings etc.. and with a repeater you can go over 1000 mms
I am impressed you have you Ham Ticket, I have over 5 radios now and still have not got mine :\ I should do that one day soon.
