Nach jenem Aufstand vor 54 Jahren gegen das stalinistische Regime vor Ort, wird es jetzt langsam Zeit, dass gegen das faschistische neue Mediengesetz (= Zensur) auf die Straße gegangen wird und ggf. ein neuer Aufstand kommt, wenn schon das Land die EU-Ratspräsidentschaft übernehmen soll. Ich wollte einfach an den Mut der damaligen Ungarn erinnern und meinen Respekt für diesen damaligen,historischen Schritt bekunden. Achja und ich bin kein Nazi und auch kein nationalist. Although being a German I was much more impressed by the Hungarian uprising than by the German 17. Juni. Still remember when the last Hungarian radio ended its programme, begging a last time for help!

-one of the "less well known" great moments of the uprising was when in the radio a new leader asked the deported "Ungarndeutschen" to return Hungary.

Unfortunately the soviet tanks crushed the revolution just a few days later...

(1946-47 50% of the hungarian germans were deported to Germany)
