@theOYAchild My understanding is that all forms, including WC ones are mostly an art of expression with movements meant to condition the body. In Karate Forms are probably the best way to condition your body, if your executing them correctly- Balance, Control of Power, breathing, and extensive hip training are just a few benefits to forms.

@12344richard It is Chum Kiu form. It is Chum Kiu of Master Wong System. Meaning it is not Ip Man nor any other known wing chun form. He is not telling who his master is, but we all know that Ip Man is not the onlyone who has ever learned Wing Chun. And even Ip Man teached different Wing Chun than the one of his master's. As long as it does not violate Wing Chun principles it is wing chun. Not all masters want fame and glory like Ip Man did. Respect to him though.
Pay attention on what you say because Gm Yip man was not looking for fame or glory, there were difficult times and he had to teaches wing chun for living... he was one of the last masters who respected the original kung fu and the philosophical aspects, he was and is famous because he was GREAT on what he did, so watch your mouth...

I was simply stating that every master has his own idea of a fighting system and while it's not contradicting the wing chun principles, it's not wrong. Grandmaster Ip Man was great, there is no doubt in that.

Im no martial arts expert, far from it but its not right to call this wing chun, why not call it something else? I just hate false advertisements
