Hello Sir, I would like to ask you something about the square button of the psp. Mine isn't working properly. (not working at all). I've watched several videos on how to open a faceplate and I did open it after watching how it's done. I've read that cleaning the inside of the psp will help restore the performance of the button but.. no luck. I would like to ask if changing the buttons (square, triangle, x, o) can help solve this problem. Thank You.

Hey, I actually did. If your PSP is over a year old, and you know somebody who can work on it (take it apart) without damaging it, then you can fix it yourself. Underneath the d-pad and XOTriangleSquare buttons is silicone padding, and that can become worn out or torn. You just have to replace it, it's a dollar or so on eBay. You have to remove the front faceplate, then take the padding from the old buttons and put in new padding. Then you screw in the new padding.

if u droped your psp in water then u were skrewed ever sinse u droped it in water the surcet board is probrally realy jacked up it prob didnt wet it all the way wich is y it prob still turns on

while the psp is powerd, turn it off holding the power button up untill its off, hold r button and turn the psp on itll go to recovery mode, go to configuration then something called usevschh (osmething like that), buttons should work on recoverymode then click it to disable n exit should work if not then youll need a new psp sorry

well you mightve spilled somthing on it that happened to me before the take it out and wipe it down with a wet wash cloth and the rubber padding it pushes down on.

Dude not sure why my left and right button arrows not working.
