It's good, but I've heard it a million times already.

On YouTube, type in "Orchestral Music", and what you get is homemade versions of Videogame-style music, and rehashes of Japanese anime theme songs.

Over, and over, and over, and over, and over.....

When is anyone going to crack open a bottle of originality and write something totally unheard before? Instead of imitation "Sci-Fi" bullshit.

For God's sake, music doesn't all revolve around 'Middle Earth' or wherever.

@trentmuch1 Thanks for your comment. I understand what you are saying... but maybe you're looking in the wrong place. There is a lot of music out there that isn't "imitation Sci-Fi bullshit". If you're looking for more originality then I would suggest doing more research and listening to other styles. One of the reasons music hasn't progressed much is because some audiences are not able to accept some of the contemporary styles yet. Something written 150 years ago is too modern for some people.

Actually, I have to thank *YOU*!!

I chanced on a composer called Michael Hoppe. The bulk of his YouTube released work was painfully downbeat - But then I found a piece which was mindblowing. It had elements of Old and New working so well together that I've had to listen to it repeatedly. It was amazing.

I need to be sure I've listened to the entire portfolio, before I get all worked up! :P

If I could do better it would be on YouTube. I can't, so I haven't. My bad.
