sorry if this is a dumb question, but is this lipsynced? I know sometimes singers pre-record a live-sounding version and then lipsync it during live performances. Great song either way. it always reminds me of the great days of soap operas.

@Sudshark I don't believe it's lip-synched. Both performers have great vocal abilities... I think it's just one of the great duets.

Another reason I think it's live - at 2:02 when she sings "... fly SO high..." the note for "so" sounds improvised. That leads me to think it's live.

I've always liked this song; a great duet! I still have my old cassette tape of the album this song was on. I think the album title was "What If We Fall In Love?" on Warner Records. Now I don't have to dig out my cassette to listen to this great song!
