She does go limp when you pick up but she meows warningly at you if you hold her for too long.

I have a cat that is part tortishell and part something else XD, I'm just wondering if my kitties daddy might of been a ragdoll because he does that floppy thing too. He also just falls over onto his side when he wants attention XD. He has the tabby colors but he's really long haired. Whats your oppinion as a ragdoll owner?

This woman is very attractive. Am I the only one that's noticed? No one else has mentioned it. The cat's cute too but I'm only watching the videos to see more of her. Not in a disturbingly stalkerish way but in an admiring something aesthetically pleasing way. My cat is cute too. She always sleeps next to someone. It's quite pleasing to wake up in the middle of the night and feel a weight on the quilt and realise the cat is curled up next to you.

we have a 9 year male ragdoll and he is aout 16 lbs.we also have a 9 year old main coon female that is 15 lbs..If you are thinking of getting a cat you can't go wrong with a ragdoll.

It must be a great feeling!I'm going the up-coming Saturday at the 12th and 13th International cat show,this year it happens in Greece,and I'll see ragdolls face-to-face for the first time in my life,yay!Anyway,I wanted to ask you if Teddy sheds a lot.I know that ragdolls don't have a dense undercoat,however they still have quite a long fur!I wanted the opinion of a ragdoll owner!

@sexyback0409 Wow, that sounds fun! Cat shows are great for seeing all breeds and meeting breeders. Teddy does not shed very much at all. When I pet a domestic short hair cat the other day, I was shocked how much less teddy sheds. I've heard they shed more as they get older, but so far its good!

@sexyback0409 Hi! I know that you posted this question forever ago, but I thought I'd give you an answer as well. My ragdoll is a year and a half now and he sheds like CRAZY (almost as much as my golden retriever!!!). When he was a kitten he hardly shed at all, but how that he's an adult he leaves huge clumps of hair all over my house and clothes! Oh well, he's cute enough to make up for it! :)

@sexyback0409 My ragdoll Pixel only sheds when it gets into May and he starts to lose his winter coat. In winter you can pet him for an hour and you won't have a hair on your hand. Quite unlike a shorthair that will disintegrate year round. Ragdoll's winter coats can really be a lot bigger than normal, Pixel's is. Brushing takes care of it and most love it.
