No seriously, I'm not gonna be mean. I used to believe that too. What my vocal instructor has taught me. Is that it does not fuck up you're voice from using the chest. It just prevents you from holding out the scream/tone for long. Notice how he gasps when he finishes the screams, however, if he had used his stomach, the use of stamina would be minimum. :)
