Rivers hates interviews and I think that being a little difficult and not too giving is just his way of protesting them. The fear of public speaking is also a difficult thing to deal with. I know exactly how it feels and it's hard not to just run away and hide. It's taken me years to come to grips with having everyone looking at me while hanging on my every word.
