  • 'and he was blindfolded' O.O

  • you said he was blind fold??? He cant see the pieces???? ...... wut a god

  • That is a beautiful example of Capablanca's Superior technique and understanding of opening principles.

His tactical setup reminds me of Fischer's famous quote,"Tactics flow from the Position."

Can you show us more of the Queenside Fianchetto attacks?

    Thanks alot!

  • I think I will use that opening. And it goes to show how good the sacrafice can be.

  • No surprise that Vukovic wrote in 1965 that the Art of Attack had not been refined in master play beyond the level of Capa and Alekhine.

  • excellent video

  • amazing!!

  • I like the way you add in that he was blindfolded at the end. I was thinking what an amazing attack it was, and I'd forgotten all about the blindfold! Capa is just brilliant. Great vid.

  • Wow, thank you for the work you put in and the value your audience takes out!!!

  • Sean. One of the best presentations so far. well done.

    5 stars

  • Amazing, what Capa did blindfolded, most chess players are unable to do with the use of sight

  • Shawn as usual great vids. Please do as many games on Capablanca and Alhekine as you can. Another great player is Morphy if you could do a series on this Champions it would be great!

  • Hiya Buddy - a couple of people have asked to see Capablanca Vs. Alekhine so I'll do one of their championship games as part of the series. I may well get to Morphy in the future too! All the best,

    Sean
