i m going in japan on sep 18, im a bit nervous, and i dnt knw hw to speak their language. i only knw english and tgalog..! noo hw do i imitate them, im nervous of their attitude
Amazing!! England is sooo damn boring...ppl dress sooo boring, they have no sense of style or individuality what si ever, only a few minority. You find the same plain colours and styles everyday...but i don't care i wear what i like in style. Go Japan!!
You just have to remember, everyone has ideas about how everyone is - everywhere. (ex, streotypes) so you're bound to run into racism anywhere in the world you go, just for being who you are.
yeah I see what you're saying. I'm hoping to work there.. I just hope I don't run into any trouble finding a job there because of my being American, you know?
nope. as long as you are smiling like an idiot on LSD. hehehe. jus kiddin' I guess most Japanese including me are really friendly toward people from other countries.
haha right on. Were you raised in America? Your English is normal. I heard that the people in Tokyo are a little more stern with foreigners ( this is based on what people have said who have lived there) And they say that the people that live in the country side are more accommodating. Is this sorta true? It's always been a spike in my mind lol..
Nope. I was raised in Japan. I speak English a bit just becuz I used to live in California for 3years And yes, people in countryside tend to be more nice than people in Tokyo. But I think it's easier to deal with Japanese when you are in tokyo rather. Cuz tokyo is kinda like melting-pot and we get used to other cultures. and there are about 13,000,000 people living in tokyo. A'int that enuff to find nice n' friendly ones? hehe
I loved this video! One day I want to go there with by bf. In Los Angeles, everything is boring and I'm a big JPOP fashion fan! I love everything Japan, especially the styles and how everyone's style is welcomed there
Omg I wish I lived in Japan (As a teenagerer) b/c you can have your own sense of style and wear it and not get made fun of if it's not the typical skin-tight Abercrombie or Hollister T-Shirt. (No offense to either of those, I love both but still.) I'd love to move to Japan but I'd stand out pretty bad (with my race)
I want to live in Japan oh so badly! Fashion is beautiful over there, over here the most fashionable you can get is with the most clingy, and naked outfit.
*sigh*
Thank God some portion of the world has a sense of style.
very fashionable! its like, no one cares when you walk in the street! here in the philippines, if you're going to wear outfits like that everyone will stare at you! i hope i can go to japan someday and wear outfits like that! ^__^
I really like it. Yeah the footage isn't great, but that doesn't matter. I love that you have this feel of bland crowd, then pop, you see a really interesting dressed person.
I love Japanese street fashion. They have a really sense of style. Hence why they have magazines devoted to it.
I'm from Melbourne, Australia. We have interesting street styles here. I run a website designed to document it.
We need more people in the world with a snse of self style.
I was terrible hard to flim this one because I wasn't confident about fliming people with out asking yet so I'd be walking have flip out my camera, or turn it on and try to get a glimpes of something, I think it turn out okay though - thanks ;)
The style here is amazing, I'm always been fasinated with fashion.
I've never been to Melbourne, though I worked with a guy from there, what's the url to your site?
arent they just awesome...but its pretti scary cuz u dun wana go out not thinking about ur appearance...cuz lots of them jus look so nice.....
they ahve good taste...realli personalized too ...the stuff are actually if not brand names...cheaper than many north american stuf.or maybe its cuz im in vancouver..............EVERYTHING HERE IS SO DAMN EXPENSIVE

You are amazing!!!! I want to visit Japan so badly!! (I swear I was MEANT to be Japanese...). Sadly, I think I'm still too young for a foreign exchange student program but in a few short years... ^^
Amazing video, I've always wanted to dress up in one of the street fashions (Lolita, especially)
it says in your profile that you're 16, you can go for a summer exchange, and even a high school exchange - though with the high school exchange a knowledge of Japanese is needed.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
The outfits are so crazy hey? I asked one girl how much her outfit cost - and it wasn't anything fancy - it was 400 dollars! The dressed in the stores run from 150 to 300 dollars. I'd have one but I'm cheap. haha :P
Well with my school I would have to repeat a year -_- they aren't very supportive of the foreign eschange strudent program, and won't count anything that I do over there. But I'm still trying to see if possibly in my senior year...
Hah yes they are!! Oh, I know. To dress in full LOlita I would need a dress ranging from 70-100+ dollars, a head piece 10-30 dollars, petticoat probably 24+, stockings or hose 6-15, and shoes 45-100.
Along with any extra accessories like a parasol or jewelry...^^
that is so cool! so are you studying there? i would love to go, Ive actually been but its hard to make friends because I dont really know what to say...
Yeah well,,,,thanks for the video! it was awesome!
I find that at first it was really had to be able to connect with people because of the language barrier too but if you're a bit older most older people know a bit of English so it's easy to chat with them.
but yea... plus everyone is so effing busy! it's hard to coordinate schedules!
what the phuck are you hesitating for? you just talk to japanese people in yur own language with smile. they might be your friend even if they dun understand wut yu say. that's how I made friends in the states. I could never speak english back then
As I've said before on this channel, I sure hope that the short skirt/long socks (or even better, long boots) fashion catched on the US.

Wear what you want, mix it up, who cares where you live. If you feel good about your self you're going to be more will to blossom.
Don't worried about standing out, standing out say's 'I'm who I am, I know, and I love it'
it's a pretty great statement :) don't you think.
even if that mean you're a different race, sex or age.
