Global Warming is extremely misleading. Yes, the Earth is warming up. But it's nothing to be scared off. Their have been around 5 periods in the last 3000 years when the Earth's temperature have been higher than it has been now. The root of the problem is the fossil fuels energy dependency US/Britain implanted in the world and now the Chinese are making a final blow burning millions of coal and filling our atmosphere with CO2. When you point it to the us citizens, they call you a communist, because the part of US that doesnt study or just pretend to do it, think in terms of competition not in cooperation. The whole american way of life must change, and the world together.

We are not destroying the planet, the ecosystem is not going to die ! Think about it, even the dinosaurs emitted more CO2 than us, not to mention there were many climatic disasters in the past, and some were even worst than the one we are making !
The fossile ressources we use may be ddepleted some day but who cares, they are useless to anyone but the humans .....

The world's environmental problems started way before your party's quarrels. Besides, the world is too big to blame it on the republicans alone. Anyway, Democrats first used the Atom bomb twice on two cities. The way I see it, Republicans do not necessarily hate the green movement, they just couldn't trust them because alot of your government and tax payer's resource had been given to them while resulting in impractical methods to save the Earth, like chocolate fuel. Chocolates aren't cheap.

For example, did you know that the Sierra Club had been taking legal action against the federal EPA to force them to protect consumers against lead in toy jewelry since 2006, years before it made big news that children were dying? The EPA (run by a Bush appointee) had fought them all the way on this.

I think it's less than 90% that care - everyone says they care but if you take a closer look at how they live and what they are actually doing to contribute towards saving the planet, it's very little if nothing at all. We have it easy....and 'easy' is destroying the planet, why would anybody make sacrifices to play apart in something that's not going to benefit them for today? it's sad yes but true. So yes this planet is doomed. Very sad. We are the cancer of this world. :o/
