Dude why's everyone getting so bummed over what she said? i have a blackberry 8110 and i am considering getting a G1, i had a play around with it in the shop and it is pretty good TBF. just cause she personally wouldn't have doesn't mean you have to be like "OMFG she's dissing the G1 lets bully her!" She never complimented the sidekick slide, which i think is an amazing phone but missed out on a chance to own one. Personally, HTC really should have included flash and made it more of a sidekick.

i have had a iphone and now a g1 and in my opinion the iphone is the finished product but the google g2 will be alot better then the iphone , i absoutely love the g1 and cant wait for g2

I got my G1 one week ago and I'm just amazed by all its features. It's a wonderful easy-to-use very functional phone and it doesn't look that bad either. I love the fact it has a side keyboard and the internet connection is really quick. The apps are great and free. My battery life lasts for almost2 days as I keep the GPS and 3G off and only use it when necessary.I used to have an iphone and also liked it a lot, both are great phones but the iphone only touchscreen feature was kind of a problem.

no idea what you are talking about the G1 is the first phone to come out with googles andriod OS. and you guys in europe are always getting stuff before us state side, like video calling, nokia n95, 3g networks, all that stuff, we get everything last over here because everything is regulated by the great (and by great i mean lame) folks at the FCC

Very fair review. I wonder when the next android phones will ship. Hopefully corrections like the headphone jack will be made.

I'm waiting for the day where my cell can function like my PC. Use a media player like VLC and play anything, play games, blue tooth...

You realize iphone works with T-mobile, at least last I checked. I don't remember the technical reason why but if you wanted this phone because of the similarities to the iphone, I just thought I'd give you a heads up.

im not buying it at all because it's similar to the iphone. ppl need to stop comparing this phone to the iphone. they are running two total different things. its only a matter of choice who wants want. there's always gonna be fuss about one phone being better than the other when in actuality it boils down to the user. as for me, i am getting the g1, and no not because it's "similar" to the iphone. i don't like the iphone for many reasons.

This phone with the service will run you roughly around 95 dollars monthly, of course if you have AT&T and an iphone you are likely paying more. Like I stated earlier, and you can search it on youtube I'm sure, but iphone works on the T-mobile network. Hope that helped.
