The only differences are chrome mirrors and

2000 weighs 3384 lbs (1535 kg)

2001 weighs 3593 lbs (1630 kg)

Both have 250bhp and 258ft. lbs tq.

Just the stock 2.5" stock gutted downpipes when I recorded this video.... I would go with the ASP True Dual exhaust and gut the pre-cats and cats. You will run rich and your CEL will be on, but the HP increase is incredible!

GIAC has the most powerful chip for the K03 turbo's... It is actually made for the K04's but it gives you a little but more horsepower on the pump gas. So GIAC has a little more high end power, and the APR has the most torque.

You know absolutely NOTHING about S4's obviously. A normal off the shelf chip is for K03's....GIAC gives you 110lbft of tq which is almost 30 more than the APR, stop talking about stuff you have no idea. I have an 01 S4 with a giac x-chip. Sorry to burst your bubble. Oh, and don't bother deleting this, I will repost it OVER and OVER again.

I posted that comment so early in the morning, I wasnt thinking. I also have had both the APR and GIAC-X Chip... I have dyno sheets of my car, with both of the chips. I have stayed with the APR, because of reliability and smoother acceleration. I ran a 12.7 @108 1/4 mile with the APR 100oct setting.

If I didn't already own an S4, I could go out buy one for 20k and put 8k into it and I would have about 700awhp (800-820bhp) and it would beat any Lambo anytime. The Murcielago has 580bhp NOT whp. How much does a Murcielago cost?

Unfortunately only used. UUC has the loudest exhaust for the S4 (VM3). The only one that somewhat compares is the ASP exhaust.
