Actually 1,700,000 bells. Because the bridge (200,000) and fountain (500,000) are first, before the lighthouse (1,000,000). And the bells don't carry over.

Oh, I was replying to someone that was asking how you get a lighthouse, and you said you had to donate bells to the town fund, then I said 1,000,000 bells to be more specific =).

I know. But I was saying you have to donate the 200,000 for the bridge and 500,000 for the fountain before you can even start putting money towards the lighthouse. So it takes a total donation of 1,700,000 before you get the lighthouse.

As it is now, I would probably prefer a GameCube controller (if that were an option). But if only there was a way to disable walking with the pointer, the remote+nunchuk would be best. The pointer is still very useful in menus, when selecting items or typing.

How do you walk in this game?

wwefano706: You can walk either with the control stick on the nunchuk, or you can walk with the Wii remote by holding A and pointing where you want to go. I prefer the nunchuk.
