Take a look at arnold schwarzenegger training ? he needs a slide to with his swing ! Plus use your common sense if you have any ok - If my muscle is fully eccentrically and concentrically contracting whether my chest (which Im not working) moves or not my biceps are still getting worked, plus your biceps are attached to your scapula it's always going to have some degree of pull on your body, don't get all pissed because you about 34year old and still curling 8kgs

@aravec See typical immaturity I send you 2 videos of guys whose UPPER bodies move whilst curling (one of which was a fucking animal) and you ignore that and resort to childish name calling, grow up and get over yourself you clearly no nothing about how muscles actually work. And from the vague glimpse in your video your arms can be no larger then 14inchs so it's clearly not working for you old man ! I was a gym instructor for 2 years in London and now a teacher in Japan.I guess your on the dole
@aravec Videos 2years old, not the same size now silly man, and swinging the weight is cheating my upper body is bound to move as long as the target area(biceps) are fully contracting from shortening to lengthening then its fine, please dont talk about things you have no idea about, also my biceps are small in this video but from the brief shots I see in your video your arms look far skinnier and on top of that you must be in your 30's in this video I am 19 just :)
The most important dumbell curl tip - use strict and correct dumbell curl form and technique! This mean no “throwing the dumbell” up to the top of the curl, keeping your whole body tense and still and not leaning backwards to raise the dumbell. If you are leaning back, try doing your dumbell curls against a wall.
Control the dumbell throughout the whole dumbell curl. Most the dumbell up and down slowly. Don’t swing..that’s cheating!

Also you should note I was in the middle of a 4 month training programme for a full marathon when I filmed that video whereby I lost 16 pounds of muscle. Additionally I should point out to you that I am not the one broadcasting himself and his scrawny arms 'teaching' others to how develop biceps!!!
20kg in one hand? i do 45kg in 1 hand curl (100lbs) sry to say but your knowledge dont work for me, my muscles grow faster if i train heavy as hell and keep my reps low like 4-6, 6 months and see my results, check my vid.

@aravec What I learned is based on the ACSM guidelines which as you probably don't know are the sporting body that essentially govern the world in terms of sports and fitness related scientific study, so what I learned is what nearly everyother personal trainer in the worlds has learned, I would like to see you compare yourself to me via youtube. I've been OK had earthquake and tsunami so it's been exciting here lately. My knowledge won't have changed in 4years only expanded

Also you swing the bar up as your upper body moves back and forth-this is cheating!
Try the same weight with your back against the wall so your body cannot move, then you'll feel it where it should be hurting, the bicep.

All i do for biceps is
Dumbell curl 25kg
Then Barbell curl 55kg
I go heavy too 6 reps and below, they gain in strength mad and size.

Yeh this is old video Im upto 50kgs for 7-8 reps and 20kg DBs for 10 reps.
Allthough my arms are an inch bigger then that video they are still small lol
