Is it possible to learn to play guitar with just three fingures and your thumb? I have all 4 fingures and my thumb but my pinky was sorta disfigured at birth, I get it from my mothers side and I do have mobility and function in it but it's not much, I can't move my pinky without my ring fingure doing the same it may be a variant of cerebral palsy causing that part of the problem idk if that's what I have or not, but could I learn to play with just my three good functioning fingures?

@RaioShii2021 Slash almost never uses his pinky when he plays along with quite a lot of other guitarists.Not only that but you can actually use e.g. your left hand to pick/strum and your right on the fret even if you are right handed.Everything is possible with practice...

@dasalphaschwein its easy to work out imo, starting from the start.... C# is on 11th fret (string 6) and 9th fret (string 5), then go down to 7th and 5th frets(same strings) then go to 2nd fret 4th and 5th string then to 6th fret (string 6) and 4th fret (string 5).

Second part is the same (11th fret (string 6) and 9th fret (string 5) and down to 7th and 5th frets(same strings)) but then go to 9th fret (string 5) 7th fret (string 4). then carry on as usual.
