  • Erob= Endo?

  • 0:50 isnt that flares of Delasale?

  • @Sadiyev the flairs might be, but he's talking about the flair to handstand back down to flair.

  • immediately put video on mute

  • Manna is the hardest element ever. what the fuck

  • The 5/2 twist with 3/4 flip is banned because it's considered too dangerous. If you competed it, then maybe it's just banned at international meets. The girls aren't even allowed to do a 3/4 flip at all anymore.

  • i can do that.

    i think?

    o shxt no i cant

  • I love all of these videos, just thought i would let you know that the first skill is a peters, a bilozerchev goes to the opposite bar... once again though, thank you for all these amazing videos!!

  • Not on Men's Floor Exercise. In the most recent version of the Code of Points for Men's Artistic Gymnastics, the closest is a Ri Jong Song, a tucked triple-twisting double back (Group III, Box 6, "G" difficulty value). To be sure, a triple-twisting double layout is called a Miller in Trampoline, but that skill has not yet made its way into men's floor.

  • FYI triple russian on Floor wasn't invented by Fedorchenko.

It is named after him in the code but he wasn't the first to compete it.

His coach was the first to compete it. His name is Pavel Sadovsky.

  • good montage, shit music!!!

  • if you do 2 and half twist back to one leg right into a marinich ????

    does it bonifies??

  • I thought :10 was an indo?

  • isn't the tsukahara also used by women in the floor and beam dismount. Its an E element right?

  • what is the value of a circle and a 360 russian on floor?

  • Is the Hypolito an arabian double full pike? Crazy!

  • A Hypolito is a double arabian where the second salto of the double arabian has a full twist.

If you were to take apart the two saltos that make a hypolito it would be "arabian (in any position)" and then "front full twist (in the same position as the arabian before it).

  • The Manna lift is just beatiful; its actually a Yoga position isnt it? Some of the stuff, in fact ALL of the stuff in this montage is just mind-boggling:)

  • LMAO! Dude this stuff was around a looong time before breakdancing most this stuff was invented before break dancing was even around

  • 0:23 a wierd b twist

  • russian circles 0:30

  • wooooooooow awesome, I hope than a I can do some same that y love gimnastic I have one year practicing, that sport is most difficulty for the mens

  • 0:33,i thought it was called the virgin flare?

  • lol, maybe in breakdancing.

Too bad it was done in gymnastics before breakdancing even existed.

  • The first rotation is sometimes called virgin flare in breakdancing, and called "circles" in gymnastics. The rest of the skill has no name variation in breakdancing that I know of ("air turtle" in breakdancing is similar but with bent knees). However, an alternative name used in gymnastics is "Russian circles".

  • Holy shit that guy does a manna

  • xD it's a B rank element.

  • Nope. It's a C (Group I, box #3).

  • two moves invented by the same person maybe?

  • 1. There is no triple-twisting double layout in the Code on floor yet. Best yet is a triple-twisting double tucked (Ri Jong Song, group III, box #6, G).

    2. You're probably thinking of a Fedorchenko on high bar, which is a triple-twisting double layout dismount (

    Group V, box #42, F).

    3. On floor, a Fedorchenko is a Russian 1080 or more (Group I, box #129, C).

    4. Do your research before you comment.

  • @dd8yf i may well be wrong but isnt a tripple twisting double layout called a miller?

  • thats a Ri Jong Song.....

  • that's the dismount on high bar idiot.

  • There's still connection bonus on floor for men. See the 2009 - 2012 Code of Points, Article 28, #4: "Information about connections."

    On floor:

    0.1 for a D + A / B / C

0.2 if both saltos D or higher

Bonus is only awarded on one side of each connection to the benefit of the gymnast.

  • You missed a few less common moves:

    Tamayo (layout arabian double front)

Kolyvanov (double twisting double back pike)

Alvariño (Maltese press to Japanese handstand)

and (for the sake of completeness)

    Menichelli (back walk over)

Also I what you call an Erob is listed in the code of points as an Endo.

The Tong Fei looks a little strange. I can do a Tong Fei better than that.

  • is wu guonian a straight thomas minus full

  • Not technically.

Wu Guonian is an Arabian layout 1 3/4.

Stretched Thomas is a Back layout 1 3/4 with 1.5 twists.

  • i hate our new code. It sucks we dont get connection bonuses anymore.

  • gogolatze is flare, how complicated, what a shit))))))

  • it is a flare to handstand retard!!!

  • fuck you asshole, i bet you cant do just one.

  • wouldnt a tsukahara just be a full in?

  • yeah full-in is the like the "new" thing to call it. it was orginally named tsukahara tho.

  • ahhhh

  • the Manna looks so worng

  • 1. No such skill as Thomas full has ever been in the Code - guys or girls. Thomas is a 3/2 twisting, 1 3/4 back tuck to roll out. Thomas full would be a 5/2 twisting, 1 3/4 back tuck to roll out - No such skill. (Maybe unofficially by some tumbling god somewhere...)

    2. The skill in the video labeled "Erob" is incorrectly named. It's an "Endo" (2009 code, B, box#86).

    Very cool montage.

  • There are a few people who do Thomas fulls (not just tumbling gods) but the move is illegal in competition due to how dangerous it is. Or at least that is my understanding of it

  • @jiggysnitz

It's not illegal bud. I competed it.

  • @pelitenick

Did you compete it with a 3/2s or 5/2 twist? I was 90% sure its no longer allowed with the extra full and not allowed at all for women.

  • r2JNu9GIwYo shows a Thomas full in the gym.

  • for triple back tuck? nah, Vladamier Gogalatze was the first. its just that ljukien submited it first.

  • The first-ever tripple back salto has executed Yuriy Porplenko - Championship USSR 1986,

At the international competitions by the first tripple has executed Valeriy Liukin - 1987.

Vladimir Gogoladze executed tripple - 1988,no first!

  • the song name is amaranth by nightwish

  • Song is a Nightwish track from the album 'Dark Passion play' Can't recall the name

  • Thomas and the Kolybanov (layout Thomas) is only banned in women's gymnastics. This was a sweet montage. Loved the old-school side flips. The Hypolito is one of the most original skills I've seen in a while. Lay Marinich, also awesome.

  • You are correct except that a layout Thomas is called a Korobchynski according to the code of points. A Kolyvanov is a double full in, back pike out.

  • thomas is banned

  • no it isnt

  • thomas full is banned

  • for girls

  • is not

  • valeri liukin was the first

  • Triple back with legs together on floor is mega hard. Who did one of those?

  • I'm wondering what the song is too.

  • this song is extremely BAD

  • whats this song?

  • oooh shit xD this rocks

  • good job.

  • Wow, perfect...

  • Who is the guy doing manna?

  • i think the Liukin is the best, great montage!

  • yeah, minus the cow-boy legs he's got going on. Not worth doing if it can't be done cleanly.

  • Im pretty sure its still worth while doing a TRIPLE back even if your legs are a little apart...

  • it isn't worth jack shit if you can't stick it though.
