whoever said north adams isnt safe and that girls have to worry about getting raped is completely wrong. I grew up in North Adams and have lived there until I began attending college and there is absolutely nothing to be scared of in North Adams. The only place where a girl would have to worry about getting raped would be on Brayton Hill or in the Greylock Projects, and if you live there you're life is fucked sooo.

I live near North Adams. It's a beautiful town, but some of the people are strange.

Of course I'm from down south so they probably think I'm strange, but I couldn't

believe how "cold-hearted" some of the

people are in N. Adams. I'm trying to pass out some smiles and hellos to people. Believe it or not, it's starting to work! I think we just have to start spreading some cheer in this town! My town is just over the town line from N.Adams and the people around here are

North Adams has recently come out of a massive depression that had made it one of the worst towns in the united states. To this day, the poverty, alcholism, and incest rates double those of the mass state average. Dough is right, North Adams can be a very rough town... not a touchy feely place at all.

trust me, it is not as appy and beautiful as they make it look. Its full of druggies and drinkers. You can't walk outside at night if your a girl by yourself without worrying about getting raped. Yea, not a very happy place. I cant wait to move out of this town

North Adams has bad Drug/Alchohol problems. And generaly low income residents. Adams on the other hand is cleaner with mid-high income residents. Less crime. Williamstown next to north adams is for mostly the high income

NA is a cool place...you should have shown some of the beautiful historical homes...N. Adams is quiet and if that is not for you then I guess that makes it a "shithole" but there is a thiving art community, theatre, beautiful natural landscapes and mountains everywhere you look...fall colors are awesome...If you were bored here...maybe it was YOU....I'm sure you are complaining where you are living now...don't bother coming back...we're glad you're gone!

i wasn't bored here at all, i live in Marlborough which is a little city a little bit away from Boston, and i enjoy it a lot because of the fresh air and all the like wilderness is ill cause my grandma lives out here and she feeds raccoons and stuff and it's pretty ill, and i also like skating the skatepark there...amongst other things
