  • Thank you Nancy, specially for showing the binding. Everyone was telling me I need to hand quilt the back side of it. Glad to see it done of the machine!

  • Thank you Nancy! Wonderful close ups helps so much!

  • Great work! Thank you for these clear, easy - to - follow, instructions.

  • Lots of great tips! Thank you, Nancy!

  • Prewashing fabrics is a personal preference. In Nancy's book, Quilt With Confidence, she gives some pointers to consider:

Shrinkage: Yes, Wash it: Prewashing reduces the likelihood of shrinkage; although shrinkage is usually minimal in good-quality fabric.

Fabric Finish: Yes, Wash it: Hand quilters like to wash their fabric to produce a softer feel, but makes it more prone to soiling. No, Don't wash it: Quilters who piece by machine like their fabric to feel stiffer.

  • Do you prewash the fabrics if you are using them for a lap quilt?

  • I did this with a woodland theme and cut the pictures out and made pillows by sewing two pics. together wrong sides out then flipped and stuffed. They came out awesome and my family loved them!

  • Gracias por el video, es maravilloso.

  • <3 u Nancy
