  • what if all the matter in the universe is shrinking making the universe seem to be expanding?

  • i don't like this videos explanation of the supernova type 1a. after a relatively small star goes nova (not super nova) its remnant turns into this glowing white hot carbon "cinder" known as a white dwarf, once a white dwarf accumulates enough matter, 1.43 solar masses then it completely obliterates itself in a nuclear explosion thats consistently uniform

  • This series answered for me many of the questions other treatments of the subject left unanswered about dark matter and expansion of the universe.

  • The farther a galaxy is away from us,the longer it takes for the light from that galaxy to reach us. It's like you're looking farther and farther back in time. In the first few seconds of the creation of the entire known universe all matter was expanding very quickly. If scientists are looking at the galaxies that are farthest away from us, wouldn't that mean they would see the galaxies moving faster as they did near the beginning of time. Not as the galaxies move now in our time. Scientist now

  • sure, it is just an idea I have about it, I can be completely wrong but, untill some years ago, scientists were sure they were right and now we find out they were wrong about a lot of ideas they had 100% sure were true and facts.

  • about the "more space being created" thing,I think that space is space and the universe started at space, not that space was created by the bigbang or whatever resulted in the universe as we know so, considering the big bang as the start and its a great explosion throwing everything apart to a place that have nothing but emptyness, thats nothing to reduce speed so yes, considering the big bang leasted for a couple of seconds or more, it made things accelerate and they just remain accelerating.

  • dark energy is the god!

  • They keeps comparing the search for dark matter with things that are way more interesting.

"It's like watching paint dry...except you can't see any of the paint..."

  • I stand by my comment. By saying all people born in 1996 are on the same level of intelligence, you contradict your statement that a tiny group of people are just born exceedingly more intelligent that the majority. I believe that a genius is made, not born. It's nothing less than ignorant to say that none of "these people with their theories" might just be right.

  • maybe the apple just doesn't like you

  • i don't think i believe this... cuz im catholic. jk. i have not taken any astronomy classes yet.. but, the way i see it, it makes sense that the galaxys that are furthest are the ones moving away faster... if the big bang really happened.. think about a grenade exploding.. (no outside forces acting on it, like gravity or air resistance..) some particles will soot out at greater speeds than others.. the particles moving faster will be further away than the ones that are nearly still..

And yet, we can see, we can visualize the ethereal matter. The scheme to one device for to visualize the ethereal matter: EXIST! And this device it can realize!

    My e-mail: s.stan65@yahoo.com

You Tube: sandustanBrasov’s Channel Dark energy is the ethereal energy and this can be harness it!

And yet, we can see, we can visualize the ethereal matter. The scheme to one device for to visualize the ethereal matter: EXIST! And this device it can realize!

  • • SandustanBrasov

The matter of the our terrestrial globe has four states of aggregation: solid, liquid, gseous and ethereal and not three after official science. The matter on which we see it, proceed from the ethereal matter, which from cancentration in concentration it had constituted in the electrons, in protons respectivel;y in the atoms of the chemical elements which had overtaken at the gaseous, liquid and solid state. All the matter on which we see it, is condensed ether.

  • • SandustanBrasov

The PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL MATTER is the visible matter with free eye and is constituted from atoms of the chemical elements. The PHYSICAL-ETHEREAL MATTER is a matter with atoms more small with 7..8 order of dimension than the atoms of chemical elements, and the bodies formed from this matter are invisible for the human eye. The ETHEREAL PHYSICS it occupy with the study of the ethereal matters, but which was abandoned in the XX century, because in 1905 A.Einstein excludes the ether

  • • SandustanBrasov But the ETHER is a physical reality constituted from a very small matter, invisible for human eye, and is formed from atoms more small with 7...8 order of dimension than the atoms of the chemical elements. The matter of the ether penetrate in all the visible bodies and is the physical matter which fills both the interplanetary space and the interatomic space. The ether is a matter with mass and weigth, being subdued and she the action of the universal attraction law.

  • • SandustanBrasov

The notion of dark matter and dark energy proceed from theoretical physics, from relativity theory of the A. Einstein, from the mistaken interpretation of the physical reality. Something exist indeed: and matter and energy; but is the much ethereal matter and the her energys from the her frame. Dark energy and cosmic acceleration are a failure of relativity of the Einstein.

  • So wouldn't a spaceship in space get faster as it is moving throughout space? Getting closer to the speed of light?

  • @bryan16p Would be on too small of a scale i think, if you think about the distance a galaxy has travelled over billions of years compared to what a spaceship would travel.

  • this should be called: "the ad hoc universe"

  • Why Galaxies have us ( the milky way} as a point or center to have more or less speed for getting away from each other?

  • lmao at all these people with their theories about how these people are wrong and stupid.. FOR CRYING OUT LOUD don't you think that science which has been studying these events for years, with some of the most brilliant minds like stephen hawking on their side, have not thought about some of the stupidest arguments you people are giving? ffs I hate it when ordinary people talk about science as if they have the answer to anything

  • @sisikiller2 Even the most brilliant minds start off "ordinary".

  • @1996Aidan1996 I'm assuming that 1996 is your birth year, as your comment seems to be the words of a child. Brilliance does not start off "ordinary," otherwise it isn't "brilliance." Please, please go to school and learn the basics of the English language before attempting to decipher anything more complex, let along the 'secrets of the universe.'

  • @sisikiller2 It is very dangerous and backward to think only a few 'geniuses' can come up with all the answers and that noone else should even try. It is clear that 99% of the current theories in all science are incorrect or just plain wrong and will be overturned at some point in time. The mere fact that general relativity and quantum mechanics don't agree with each other is a direct indication of this. Therefore one should encourage everyone to try to think up working solutions.

  • @GLaDOSrev2 Yes of course, but if you'd taken the time to actually read what some people replied you would agree with me, I may have expressed myself a little too strong though and I apologise for that. You're in fact right, but I am simply opposed to people who clearly know nothing of this posting ignorant comment, and acting like they know it all. If they would have a valid idea, and explain it right and come up with arguments to defend it, I would not mind.

  • @GLaDOSrev2 so u still think Earth is the center of everything? O.o come on, if it wasn't a theory in the beginning, no one would've of known that sun was the center of our system and that scientist proved it. this is the reason why it's a "theory" and not a "law" and i bet they know more than u...ignorant fucking kid.

  • @sisikiller2 Haha this is too true. They have no idea but they're so quick to judge for themselves. I highly doubt they even know the functions of their own bodies to start with.

  • @sisikiller2 i still would like you to define 'ordinary people' ._.

  • @sisikiller2 For some one who has such faith in these brilliant minds, you have a very short term memory. A lot of these brilliant minds used to say the earth was flat, and we were the center of the universe. Then they said the universe only consisted of our galaxy. They're so brilliant they continue to prove themselves wrong, and with all their intelligence, which is pretty vast; don't get me wrong, they're still in the same boat as us "ordinary people" when it comes to understanding everything

  • @Threatconcharlie You understand me wrong, but that's perhaps because I expressed myself in a wrong way. Of course I know that scientists are still " ordinary" people, but all I meant was for some people to actually think before condemning these people who actually studied and have been thinking about these things for a long time, by claiming they are wrong and what they say is true, when they have never had an education concerning matters like this. And trust me there are a LOT of those people

  • @sisikiller2 my apologies, I know what you mean. I do think it's a positive thing though, that many people have the opportunity to speculate on these things. It's usually a question of common sense that blows these theories wide open or excel them. I myself have a some what limited education on physics through high school, and working on electronic equipment in the Navy, but it has allowed me to grasp a lot of these concepts and theories.

  • @Threatconcharlie Yes I understand what you mean too, and that is indeed the way new things and theories are discovered, but I was merely responding in a perhaps overly agressive way to some comments which were just stupid, and rude to the people who actually spend their life thinking about stuff like this, implying that they knew everything better, without ever giving it a second thought. But I get your point.

  • They can be expanding but not at the speed of light though thus nothing can travel faster than light.

  • again the same question.how does it help our problems on earth, what is these guys income and why do we pay taxes for that?

They should live in the streets and play the street preachers games

  • the real question is what exists in that place before space expands into it?

  • @Paddyllfixit Space doesnt expand into something, its the "room" itself that expands

  • @radio671

what u speak of is the "stretching" of space, as in Dark Energy. but what then is on the periphery?

  • I love how excited these scientists get when they are explaining these things... 3:06

    KABLAAAM!

  • At 7:05, he says "galaxies are being carried away as more space is created"... why is more space being created in the universe? Where is that coming from??? That is so weird!!!!! haha wow!! What an amazingly strange universe this is!!!! I wanna learn more!!

  • @goldensleeves He doesn't mean that more space is being created in the galaxies. He means space (A.K.A. The universe) is still expanding (since the Big Bang the universe has never stopped expanding) and so as the universe expands the space IN BETWEEN galaxies increases. This universe is Effin huge lol and awesome and so cool. When people say where i want to go they saw Africa and stuff and i say effin space bro haha

  • Ok... so we used the "Red Shift" measurements to determine how fast things were moving away... so we decided that the universe is expanding and accelerating at that expansion... but ARE WE SURE??? IS THAT ALL that we did to determine that we can be certain the universe is accelerating and expanding like that? Is there something else that could be causing the "red shift" appearance to be observed in our measurements? For example, could dark matter alter our data results?? Just brainstorming

  • Yea I seem to be stuck on the same thing here. If the galaxy is expanding at an increasing rate shouldn't bodies in space which are further away(in the direction of expansion) be moving at a lesser velocity because the light we receive was further in the past when said object was moving slower. Or does red shift simply indicate a CHANGE in velocity which would be increasing regardless of how long it took for the object's light to reach us (in which case the speaker's explanation was misleading)

  • @moonarch no it works like this the longer light flows through the universe the longer its wavelength gets so the more "red" it gets that way we can judge its distance realtive to its speed so we can find the acceletation of the universe

  • @wisinfan14 No....it has nothing to do with the time spent traveling. It has to do with the speed the object is moving away. By moving away, the wavelength is extended (red shifted), approaching makes it shortened (blue shifted). Works exactly the way sound waves work when a car is approaching and after it passes.

  • how could it slow down , god damn it ?!! well, youve just said it , that when u look far in distance it is equal looking back in time !! So when u said that u ve seen galaxies 13 bil LY avay off course they are speeding up , couse they are yyyyyyyyyyyyyyounger of us 13 bil years !!!

  • @banesAngell what you said there 1 year ago is still just as stupid now

  • Looks like all the galaxies are, Forever Alone

  • So matter is not affected by dark energy but space and time are?

  • @popeyeus

I think it is because our personal gravity, e.g. the solar system, keeps us in place, as if we're on a bus, we get taken along but we do not move ourselves.

  • 7:15 on... that is some crazy ass shit

  • stupid video stupid sceintests

  • @billytistrak yes...stoopid scientists...so...next time one of yours or even you get preety sick, dont dare take some medicine made by those stoopid scientists... take a surgery??!! NO!!!! pray alot instead!!!! maybe sacrifice a lamb!!!hmmm and what are U doing on the internet?? dont you know the stoopid scientists are responsible for that one also? and dont you dare to leave your coutry by plane...men are not made by god to fly, and those aeroplanes...hmmmall made by stoopid scientists...

  • @razrX

sceince kills more than it gives life, just make a simple calculation between the abortion, war machines, condoms, the pill, and you see that love and spiritual dimension is what matters most to the sick, and to happiness in life, taking pills is not the real treatment. any pill kills one part of you to stop one pain or one process, the real healing is spiritual healing , any other healing is evil in nature

  • @billytistrak yes...maybe thats why we have never seen as much people in the face of the earth and still counting... maybe thats why you should live until the age 70 nowadays...you dont reeeally believe this right? you just want some attention...LOL

  • @razrX

" should live until the age 70 nowadays"

Fast food, McDonald, candies, computer games, lack of physical activity due to modern life, caused new disease such as cholesterol, glucose, cancer etc.

People lived very long in the past, maximum life expectancy was thousands years before much over hundred

So modernism &technology did not solve the spiritual problem of life

it probably only made it worse

  • @billytistrak thats not accurate...you shouldnt believe that! life expectancy 300 y ago was at about 30...or 40yo max...we have it documented...and there was no cheeseburgers by the year 1700!! why believe that 2000 y ago people lived for hundreds and even thousands of years??!! why just believe it with NO evidence to support that!!!?? its called blind faith...because thinking is hard...

  • @razrX

People lived long in the past, the ate grains and vegtables less meat because meat was more expensive and there was no manufatured food with all the chemicals...

I have both my grand fathers one lived 99 (11 months 11 days) the other lived 102

but uncles lived to 71 and 68, and 77 same genes that lived in modern society lived less

  • @billytistrak mc donalds is not science!! nor candies... science is what you use to KNOW that that kind of food does not do good to you!! is the measure of your cholesterol levels and the understanding of how it can affect your life... computer games dont make your life shorter... and the lack of physical activities is a choice of your own. Try using the stairs instead of the elevator.

What would be the spiritual problem of life anyway?? I dont get it...

  • @razrX

mc donalds is science!! and candies, tanks, nukes, bombers, swords, all killing machines are science, and the kill because man turn his heart to spiritual goodness that comes from the ultimate good God, and man throws himself into evil atheism and survival of the fittest thinking he is doing something but the reality he was enslaved by the devil who tricked hima nd lead him to his death in spirit, there is a big camoflaged spiritual war and Atheists too their side

  • @razrX Thank you for shutting that idiot up. I hate people who try to mix religion and science.

  • @billytistrak and you got a point here...indeed spirituality helps people through hard times...especially when they are very ill.. that doesnt mean that religious beliefs are true...it can serve as a crutch you can lean on...and I respect that. but dont forget to thank your doctor when you get better from illness!!!!!!!

  • @razrX

Doctors were always human with spiritual dimension. Religious believes gulp from the core of human heart to provide healing, religion is also a doctor.

I give u example of a doctor treating for Alziehmer, he gave him medicine but no spiritual dimension patient will be depressed & eventually reject to take medication or medication will not work. Where giving love, finding friends & church come to visit him will give him spiritual consolation & will make him improve,

    Thanks by spirit

  • @billytistrak I , as a health professional , must agree with you: a doctors role when treating a patient is much more than prescript a medicine... I do believe in the power of love, CARE instead of medicine...and everything else...BUT relligion...its just stupid nonsense from the bronze age!! doesnt fit anymore in our time, and have had brought much more pain and suffering than relief troughout history

  • @billytistrak dont leave your country by ship either...because the earth is FLAT!!! and you might end up falling into some abyss with snakes and dragons...but keep up the good old praying billy!! by the end of your miserable life you will deserve a place in the kingdom of heavens by the side of jesus the savior himself and a lot of DICKLESS ANGELS JUST LIKE YOU!!! good luck with that

  • @billytistrak Lmao scientists are 10x smarter than you. You can't even spell correctly therefore you are less intelligent therefore you make less reliable decisions therefore the decision to have a religion is unintelligent.

  • @FriendsJet

you are stupid, and your scientist can be very stupid due to their 'narcissistic moronism' who said that the stupid IQ test which (which i scored 150 on) is only about solving mathematical problems and solving cross words reflects everything in life. These tests are desined by stupid morons. I am telling you because i scored high on that and I do not belive that reflects the reality about values and spiritual life,

UR stupid on both levels because U enslaved urself 2 antispirtualty

  • @billytistrak theres no such thing as a ¨slave to antispirituality¨... youre the only slave here brother!! Im free to decide... YOU are the one bounded to stupid ideas created by some crazy old inhabitants of palestine...more than 2000 years ago!!!

  • "dark energy creating space = fuck it"

Also, this doesn't exactly praise your self-proclaimed intelligence.

  • Dark Energy resembles a Black Hole,

the difference being that it is surrounding the Universe.

  • the comments on all of these videos make me pity mankind that much more (there are exceptions)..

  • dark energy creating space = fuck it

the power that is unseen that creating space and holding the universe and creating laws, and maintaining laws is God and God is not dark God is good and has a plan

  • @billytistrak and he's gay.

  • @FriendsJet

Go back to your milk bottle kid,

  • @billytistrak And you go back to your false god idiot.

  • @FriendsJet

and sorry what is your true god? Evilution? soup and lighting creating live? or you worship "nature" , nature worshipers are long time gone ?

or is it the "Chance is the gaps" god?

idiot is you & your withered penis

  • @billytistrak It's funny how you can't even provide a sensible argument.

Just accept that your religion is wrong and move on in life. It's the only way to advance intellectually.

  • @FriendsJet agree, and he still has a medieval brain`!

  • @manofadventure

    go play Nintendo kids

  • @billytistrak Apparently that 'plan' is to be the most evil goddamn bastard

that could conceptually exist under any given set of reality governing laws.

You and your illusionary ' god' are both legendary fail.

  • @godverdegodverdomme

Sorry! but Obviously u are not a smart person

if you do not believe in goodness you are not supposed to make ethical judgement , but if you believe in goodness then it follows that there is a source for that goodness. The goodness of existence rest on the premise that the cause of existence (creator) is good with good intentions. & making ethical judgement that the creator-(God) is not good contraticds yourself.

  • @billytistrak Look up Unit 731 (not for all eyes too see).

Yes billytistrak, it is obvious I am not a smart person..

  • @godverdegodverdomme

Either you did not understand the argument, by presenting something irrelevant,(not smart e) or u r thinking that you could make people be confused easily. Which is not ethical

    (not smart also)

  • @billytistrak By calling what I presented irrelevant, clearly makes you out

to be the unintelligent person. It is truly sad you cannot connect such easy to

    connect dots.

I do not wish to go off topic here, but the notion that you cannot even be bothered

to try and put up gramatically correct sentences does not speak for your credibility as a participant in this discussion.

On top of that, you are doing nothing to try and counter what I presented,

but attempt to discredit me by flinging shit.

  • @godverdegodverdomme

Nothing impressing in what you are mumbling.

I do not want to waste my time with people whose apparent IQ is less than acceptable

  • @billytistrak

Your petty little insults are but dust in the wind.

  • @godverdegodverdomme=Another one bites the dust

  • @billytistrak You got owned.

  • @Eddiethepizzaboy

    shut up moldy pizza

  • @Eddiethepizzaboy

    shut up moldy moron

  • @billytistrak well goodness and badness are just human concepts...the universe does not give a shit of what one of us THINK to be good or bad...

  • @razrX

you are stupid because in your statement you try to tell me what is good and what is better so you contradict your self, castrated slave of satan

  • @billytistrak WHATTT!!??LOLLL did u even read what Ive stated??!!! ROFLMAO

  • Comment removed

  • @razrX

Don't play a hypocrite on me,

the argument is that you do not believe in goodness and try to say it is good thing to argue against religion because religion is bad, then you say there is no goodness and badness because "the universe" does not care.

No my friend in the very make up of the universe the design for the good, the bad and the ugly (and you are the ugly) so all the interrelated laws & function are pre-set for object &the conclusion of good & bad

  • @billytistrak yes...and the earth is the center of the universe...and even more!! god made the first man from a puddle of MUD!!!! with some magic!!! then he dint like very much what he did..so he come up with a big flood instead of just undo what he has done(perhaps with a little magic??!) how old are tou?? like...10??! Ive quit believing in fairytales a long time lil fella... wake the fuck up!!! the basics of moral doesnt have anything to do with your stoopid book!!!

  • @razrX

see how silly and stupid you are you can not understand any book when you read it. if this is how you understand the bible

  • @billytistrak

If this argument is tending toward goodness, badness, evil and the like, I felt that an interjection was necessary. You are arguing that religion is the root of all goodness; where a brief look at the history of mankind can easily prove otherwise. Religion can, in some cases, provide an individual with a sense of faith, belinging and importance in his place in the universe; however, to consider the countless deaths caused by religious authority proves that it isnt "all good".

  • @jjlena

Go take your pill , I was not talking to you to interfere with this miss understanding

and you just did not demonstrate that you understood my realms. You just like to put your ass in the goad, the murderers are always atheists, they just do not have any reason to be good, and being atheists is just the evil choice, and history is the witness, any form of religious war is an atheist war trying to defeat spirituality by hiding in a lie and this is core atheist Evil

  • @billytistrak You talk some rubbish, and without discriminating I am willing to wager my mortgage that you are American. I have most of my heritage from Sweden (85% of Sweden are Atheists, now living in Scotland, who are similar) and, according to your thesis, we should be barbarians who kill each other and riot with few or no morals. In fact it has a very low crime rate, lower than USA. Then look at the opposite of Sweden...Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan. You are talking absolute nonsense friend.

  • @OlympicScientist

No according to my thesis you are stupid Swedish moron

What are proud of as Swedish ? group sex? promiscuousness? Atheism? pooh? that is is just disgusting

Go dig a hole and bury yourself - and please do not talk about Scottish let them talk about them selves

  • I like the comments by these scientists about the difference between their expectations and the facts, because it illustrates why science is so effective. They were expecting the expansion to be slowing down, but the data demonstrated that they were wrong. So what did they do? They admitted they were wrong and accepted the facts. Bravo.

  • dark matter = antigravity? lol

  • @brownie003 Dark matter has weight, shown by its effect on gravity lensing, so no :) not antigravity. For somthing to be antigravity it has to have negativ mass, and thus obstruct lensing.

  • Dark energy is simply the end of normal energy. A particle so low in energy it is as of now undetectable. As the universe goes one it uses tremendous amounts of energy, all which eventually ends up as dark energy, filling up space as a non interactive particle.

  • @HeavyDemir could the dark matter be a quantum shifting mass? and its gravity, what impact does it have on time?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @Multimorten Dark matter may be more stable then normal matter. Normal matter is made up by mostly empty space, compress your body to there is no more space in it, and you're the size of a pea. Want to see quantum shift in action? Heat the center of a steel plate and it buckles, a shift in its molecular structure has happened at a quantum lvl and for a time it will radiate light and infra red energy until its quantum state is normalized. So normal matter is in Qflux I would say.

  • its called salvia divanorum!!!!

  • Hmmmm, "more space is created" into what!?

  • (continued)... But instead we are talking about the universes INTERNAL SPEED) -the speed of the "guts" of the universe.

  • The universe is expanding because time is slowing down! But the next questions are: slowing down to what? ...for what? ...and why? I know that Einstein said that as an object approaches 100% the speed of light, time slows down, it's length becomes shorter, and it's mass increases. So, what does this tell us about the future of the universe? ...after all, we aren't talking about the speed of the universe (as it travels through its medium; if indeed it is traveling through a medium at all)...

  • (continued)...For this, I think, you would have to compare 2 objects, and each object would have to be in its own universe. In other words, because of the nature of this kind of grand scale you would have to apply Einstein's relativity laws in a multi-verse.

  • According to Einstein, as an object speeds up its time slows down. (relative to someone else's who is standing still) -So if the galaxies in the universe are accelerating, then time, (compared between the galaxies) is slowing down? But name one thing in the universe that is absolutely and totally still?...ZERO speed. In a universe that is moving and expanding throughout time and space, is it really possible for one object in the universe to be completely standing still? For this you...

  • Oh Shit! We're Fucked!

  • maybe it is parellel universes who are pushing other univers...

  • so why do galaxys converge? wats the reason for it if dark matter tends to rprl each other?

  • My hypothesis is that on a galactic scale gravity is the stronger of the two while on a universal scale the reverse is true.

  • maybe you're just unable to understand their explanations.

  • Well,maybe its not him,maybe its u? :D
