  • This was an awesome game. I remember playing it at one of our local arcades. I've never found the ROM sets for it for MAME though :(

  • Microsoft needs to find a new game developer to pass the Game Room torch to, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, there exists a Vectrex port of this game that looks pretty faithful, except you don't get the cutscenes when going from one sector to another. It was featured in one of Vestron Video's "How to Beat Home Video Games" VHS tapes.

  • @ApacheMan2K Actually, The Vectrex port came first

  • My sister and I used to play this on the Vectrex system, it was pretty hard! I remember we'd sit there and watch the "booby trap" in the middle get bigger and bigger, and like when it was small we would say that it was "Mom's boob", then when it got bigger we'd say it was "Grandma's boob", and when it got really really big we'd say it was "Inga's boob", Inga was like our great grandmother. Of course this was back when we didn't realize that people stopped growing after a certain age :D

  • @BreakingNCS EEEEEEeeewwwW!

  • I loved this game too, awesome graphics & sound effects! Combination of Galaga-like twin shooters with Asteroids-like maneuvering, sheer genius. Why wasn't this game more popular, took a lot of finesse on the buttons.

  • I had forgotten about this game, but i remember liking it a lot back in 82-83..it's been buried in my sub-concious for over 25 years...great game...and would love to play it again.

  • Does Geoff Edwards host this Game Show?

  • Yes he did!

  • O.K., then.
