  • It's been years now since I did the old stomp dance we used to do back in the manray days.

  • Wow, ran into mention of this song somewhere (trying to find the old RMI Mind/Body compilations which I have long since lost) and looked up this video in the off chance it was on youtube.... was not disappointed! Great song.

  • I hear that albuquerque was populated by New Yorkers. Something about a billboard campaign for a new life

  • This video sounds interesting - two rock songs in 19-tone temperament. I have perfect pitch, but I could not make out what the notes of the song were. I heard an F, but it could have been an E# - the two are different in 19-tone. The intervals between notes were foreign sounding to me and hard to pick out. Even notes in a major scale have slightly different intervals and so would sound slightly out of tune. I enjoyed listening to both pieces.

  • Oh that is so interesting. My mother also has perfect pitch and that's how she describes it too. Of course she says she loves my music, but I know it's a bit tough for her having perfect pitch and hearing unfamiliar notes. :)

  • Elaine, I think your old school stuff kicks ass!

  • Wow, I shot this footage in 2002, and I haven't seen it in years. My camera shots and movements were more creative then. I should get back into the way I used to film. I actually just found out today you put this footage up when I read your message. Really nice to see it up here. Kickin' old skool, "Pagan Goddess" and "Reconstruction" were always my favorites. You are looking smoking cute in this video! You should start wearing those tight maroon leather pants again for Zia shows in NYC.

  • Yeah, I LOVE your camera moves! Now how the heck am I supposed to get all of our gear to NYC? ;)

  • I shot some footage of Front line Assembly in 1991 I think, somewhere in Hollywood, also the original industrial band called "LCD" at the Hollywood Palladium, I'll have to dig for it.

My favorite was working with Nine Inch Nails in 1991 during the kick off of their "Now I'm Nothing tour"

  • woweeee. I saw FLA in Boston.. maybe it was that same tour. If you ever talk to NIN again ask them if they remember watching ZIA play 3 songs in Boston right after their Boston Garden gig.. across the street. Mid 90s. :D

  • That show looks like it was a lot of fun. When was the last time you all played together?

  • THAT particular line up last played in NYC at Downtime in 2003 I think it was... then I moved to Phoenix. Trying to get east-coasters to move to the desert is.. well, a ridiculous thought. So I have had THREE different lineups in Phoenix already. The current one is the one where we're all in white. Handsome lads.. awesome rhythm. they're keepers. ;)
