Jaymz' guitar tech is Andy Battye, John used to be Kirk's guitar tech before Justin Crew. John was the guitarist for the thrash band Metal Church and very good friends with Metallica for many years and subbed for Jaymz when he broke his are skateboarding on the Justice tour.

I remember reading that he played behind the scenes, like backstage or something. I know he was on stage sub-ing after James got blowed up in Montreal when touring with GnR, cause their next stop was T.O. which I saw...after it was postponed for a week or so...I thought Marshall did a damn near better job than Hetfield! I've heard a lot of guitarists play this exactly like James. The only difference here is that it sounds more like the recording, and slightly better, because James doesn't screw up the vocals. He's a decent guitarist, but I'm guessing Marshall is too. I know that Vanderhoof from Church is good, but I haven't heard Marshall.

I also noticed that these are by far the best Jason vocals I've ever heard.
