  • My Mom goes in for surgery in 12.5 hours, and I just really want to see her come out of it. She's fighting cancer, and now a thyroid disorder, I don't know what I'll do if she isn't fine, everything will be over, but I wont give up I'll make her proud.

  • @SabrinaOfAllTime I hope your mother's surgery went well.

  • Great

  • This song is really beautiful, it reminds me about the trials and tribulations of life, but how they can always be overcome....made me really weepy listening to it because it reminded me of the past, but it also made me smile thinking of all of the great things I have and can do in the future...."send a wish upon a star" <3

  • Thumbs up als GTST je hier naartoe heeft gebracht :DD Amazing song!! It's a soundtrack of a Dutch soap ;)

  • I keep listening to this over and over again. Because just on Monday i was about to commit suicide. I listened to this song after i decided against suicide. :) I'm glad i did. Now i have hopefully a little bit longer time with my family and friends.

  • @EmoGirl12343LovesYou I too attempted suicide but the day before I could my friend jumped off a building because of bullying. I went to his funeral and saw the devistation and heart ache that was left behind and decided to live. I'm glad I did because I realised that I have so many things to live for, and even though it might not feel that way sometimes somebody somewhere would feel your passing deeply, so I live for them and myself :)

  • @yellowrello That's a good thing to live for. :) I'm sorry about your friend. Hope the people, including you, have their pain ease. He's somewhere better, that's all you can hope for. :) I am glad you decided against the suicide. I know I am. :)

  • mothers are something that i can't write about or understand their happiness is seeing you happy they'll do whatever they can do and more just to see a smile in your face best thing in my life god bless her and please keep my mother for me and take me first

  • I'm wrinting this comment from Tokyo. And after the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami hitting the North-east districts of Japan on 3.11, I heard this song with lylics for the first time. This song is so beautiful and tears flow down on my cheek. Too many people died. But I feel hope and comfort when I listen to this song. Thank you for your uploading. Thank you.

  • @TheTERRYJOHNSON That earthquake was so devastating. I also lived through an earthquake, but definitely not as catastrophic as the one in Japan. Your words gave this video a lot more meaning. I agree with you, the song is very emotional yet very comforting.

  • @gumucev Thank you for your compassionating comment back. We Japanese are facing the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident since then. I'm very sorry for that we can't see the movie "Hereafter" in Japan. I guess the message of the movie will solace the people of the world and of cource Japanese. I want to see it and think about the hereafter once again.

  • I too cried like a baby watching The Big C finale. The thing that struck me about the show was the parallell to addiction and recovery. When the character tried to go it alone, she just created more and more chaos in her selfishness. Once she let go and asked for help, the world righted itself, forgiveness was possible and healing, though not the kind she or those around her hoped for, but a spiritual healing came in and the lesson that we are loved and we aren't alone can happen.

  • I cried... I cried for all the people I lost to the Big C... My Mother, my grandmother, my Aunt...

    Stunning song, amazing show.

    Thank you for posting this.

  • @Foreverpotchie I'm very sorry for your loss.

  • Made me cry when I saw it on Big C

  • Amazing.. when is she coming to seattle?!?!

  • "The Big C"...took my beloved mother..LaDonna Woodfin...I am trying to move on, from this loss......the love was profound, of course the pain equals. The light she shined on others was warm.....without her it's like standing in the shade...needing the sun, but not knowing how to step into it.....colder, lonelier....but with just a memory of her love...laugh, the world feels warmer.............God miss you Mom!

This show.... Laura Linney, you are unforgettable.....Your eyes smile. Thank you!! T

  • if you heard this on The Big C & it made you cry like it did to me.. raise your hand.. so I know it wasn't just me.

  • @Athra1984 I did, because she reminds me of my mom, and I could only imagine what I'd feel if she had cancer. A mother is truly a blessing.

  • Most beautiful song...The tears just flow!
