I attend TC now and I was in that performance i was just trying to do a compare and contrast of how we march back then and now and im disappointed towards the end like 1/5ths of the band were marching during the end and the rest were not even attempting to do nothing it was like total shock to me wish i could of corrected it I was only a freshmen then so hey lol
Very nice!!! And the dancers were great!! Why couldn't my band do this years ago??? Oh yeah... because we were all white and out in the middle of the cornfields of Indiana -- all we got to play was stupid Gershwin and show tunes..... snore.......
this is a good show but there is no type of balance what so ever, the melody is not being brought out as it should.ALOT of potential is in this band but not in this show.People are not as focused as they should be its ok!
I am overall disappointed with the performance of this band. As a musician & tchs alumnus, I felt that the students could have done so much better. But all can see that it's due to the teachers/administrators lack of interest of these talented students. I can see that there are SOOOOO much potential in them. they're just not focused. Individuals & sections overpowering others (no balance)& they don't fully know their music. I would be more than glad to help with music and sectionals...something
Yes...C/O '95 from TCHS...marched @ MBC with The Johnson Wax Production, under the Great, Late Cleophas Redwood Johnson, Jr. (RIP, Prof.). My section leader was Larry McCullen (or something like that...didn't mean to misspell his name). Who are you and how you know me?
I am Justin and I am a TCHS C/O 99 and I remember you used to come and assist Mr. D with the band. I also attended MBC under the direction of Eddie Ellis. Brian Relaford was my section leader. T-Bone EXPRESS!!!!
i was hot as hell in those suites, pfft. when we were playing Pyt the second song u can see me im on the left of the drum major when u zoom up i think we did pretty good are new routine ten times better though :D
