That was an amazingly interesting day. I am so glad I took the time and trouble to find that road up the backside of the mountain. That shoot put me right back there again.
This was a very interesting day. Even in HD, it is very hard to find the train, this place is big! Sometimes ideas don't work out but this one did, got there at the right time of the day for the light. Something I did not mention in the vid is, it was obvious that the place I took the picture from, was a party place. Beer cans everywhere.
Great pictures. I went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last year. The best vacation I ever had. You must go there. I have some videos from there on my channel.
Hope you had time to travel around! Years later I was at Moab for nine months. Beside my cameras I brought my 8 inch celestron telescope. That was really amazing.
Unfortunately, all I got to see was the inside of a bunch of bunkers. That seemed to happen anytime we went on those short training exercises. But, like I said, the surrounding country was awful pretty.
Nice hear of someone still enjoying 4x5. I miss large format. Shoot some for me.

Rick,
I couldn't get over that train. I looked and looked at the first enlargement, but was unable to spot it. Man, that's a big, big place.
That was cool. Thanks for showing it.

John
