Please God, can we exchange Justin Bieber to get MJ back?

  • @A86 this would be a great deal !!

  • @mucortez - I know, right? We could trade Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black in exchange for Michael Jackson and Luther Vandross. Maybe we could toss in Ke$ha and Soulja Boy in exchange for Barry White and Teena Marie too.

  • CLASSIC!

  • There is a garage tune with these lyrics anyone know where i can get hold of it or what the name is?

  • I'm only 25 (turnin 26 in 3 months) and I remember my mom, dad, and big cousins playin the shit outta this when I was little.

  • this was da shit, but when u look@ da video you'll notice that this is when body-image made a big deal because u always heard her voice but u never knew what she looked like

  • I really wish she was given an album. It's sad that music has been brought down to that level of image. Music is not a video, it's music! After hearing Guy's "Goodbye Love", I definitely was looking out for her to come out at some point. This track was a surprise to me because it was released years after.

  • great n.j.s answer record!

  • this always reminds me of that record store in Juice!!! great song to drive to.

  • damn I saw this at the record store let me get outta here and go get it..

  • New Jack Swing is great music...and Teddy Riley is a god, just cause its very likely that if there were no teddy riley, there would be no new jack swing

  • this was the shit

  • Still is! New Jack Swing 4 Ever baby!

  • Love this song! Her voice is awesome

  • love this version better than Heavy D's. I listen to this song and i think about that scene in Juice when Omar Epps comes in the record store (when they still had vinyl) and u see the girl from behind and then when she turns around, her teeth are atrocious! and he even points them out talking about the caps she has on them. lol

  • TUNE!

  • whats the name of the heavy d version?

please leave me the name of it on my page in a comment.thanx.

this one is the only version i know and i love it

  • it got the same name as this song but you have to put in heavy d and the boys

  • same thing...JUICE SOUNDTRACK

  • Mii SHiT!!!

  • Originally done by heavy d and the boyz on the "Peaceful Journey". This version was actually featured in the movie "Juice" starring the late Tupac Shakur and is played during the scene that takes place in the record store where the guys are stealing a bunch of records whilst Omar Epps' character is trying to distract the shop assistant. For the record it's a good movie LOL.

  • I love this but I like this by Heavy D & Tne Boys from 1989 way better.

  • I love you tube! You Guys on here have All the music I heard my moms rocking when I was small. I'm 29 now and I remember the FEELINGS those songs gave us. We as black people in our music didn't take two steps back- we got in a car and slammed the gas pedal in REVERSE. Thank you youtubers for not letting good music go away.

  • Damn Straight . Believe me youngster , i was a teen when this track was banging and we could get down and bounce to this . This right here is classic NO DOUBT!

  • I'm 39, NOW......I was 24 when this was out

  • Hmmm... I find myself liking this version too. I wanted to get/download it but Itunes is sorely lacking when it comes to certain songs... Does anyone have any suggestions or an album on which I might be able to find this track?

  • You can find this track on the Juice Soundtrack....it was released in 1992

  • Thanks... Itunes sucks...they don't even have the soundtrack available...

  • Thanks for the notice about ITunes, Im trying to find an Ipod or MP Player that I can download old School Soundtracks like House Party, New Jersey Drive, Juice.

  • Yo, thanks for putting this up on YouTube! Though I liked Heavy D's version, when I discovered this version where the songstress on the hooks in Heavy D's version sung the whole song... I fell in love with her version!!!

  • Gotta love it!!!!!!!

  • this version was awesome

  • New Jack Swing R&B needs to make a comeback. I'm sick of this mainstream gangsta rap crap and bubblegum hip hop. New Jack Swing at least took talent to create. You needed to be able to create good beats and you needed to be able to SING, and sing WELL. Not just Beyonce and Rihanna-style just being able to hold a note/key and vocalize.

I was born in 1986 and I think 1985-1996 was the best period in American history when it came to R&B music and hip hop. I wish we could go back. :-(

  • Take me with you!!!

  • this is what I play as a dj. :)

  • i agree man

    i was born from 1989

music hit me when i was 6 in 1996

Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Boyz ll Men, Al B. Sure & so much talented back in the 90's

  • Man this song takes me back....Great soundtrack.

  • They ar all coming to denmark saturday =) Blackstreet that is, im soooo happy bought tickets

  • I have a good feeling that Teddy and New Jack Swing will ressurect in someway, someday.

  • I love that Song...Brings back the old times..One of the best New Jack Swing ever..Teddy is one of the best Producer and Etertainer...COOOOL !!!

  • This is one of the mile stones to DAMN GOOD music in the late 80's; Teddy, because gifts can never be DUPLICATED often Immitated,(which is one's interpretation of the copiers' assestment)YOU SIR, are still the ORIGINAL at your CRAFT...Really appreciate your contributions in the music industry...keep expressing............

  • damn, i gotta go watch the movie JUICE now.lol.

  • yeah teddy was on the snoop dog show father hood and snoop said he always repected teddy riley as a beat maker and he said thats why he called teddy so he could be out again

  • on 106 and park this park this week teddy riley was on there because snoop said he worked with the homie snoop dog on the new album ego trippin its cool someone know teddy is the legend

  • omg, this was the song....i remember this song in New Jack City, when Omar Epps walks into the record store, lookin at the girl from behind....and then when she steps down from the latter and turns around...omg, lol...

    "u got me sangin...oooooooooo"

  • Correction, it was not New Jack City...it was the movie Juice..sorry
