@toutainable popped by 2 say truly emotional for a partner & i live blogging a certain site previously 4 various DD Supports 2 get approvals....DD hav our undying respect 4 their "real" support & I think this could, possibly, be 1 of the great 'pop poems'...Lyrically & even with subtle/epic military drums & Duran Duran sounding like an orchestra - we saw storm clouds become sun - & this remains genuine & emotional that I could only have made for 1 SONG Before The Rain - (See DD talking + lyrics)

@U2000M ur support greatly appreciated - very personal Duran Duran tribute 'n you shld check context to their poetry-in-motion lyrics to "Before The Rain" - we are remixing 'n linking this to fashion for breast cancer research that we're trying to achieve with "Girl Panic!" & now have some support in Japan. I wrote 'n created this at sacred Malaysia Burial Grounds, visiting my beautiful partner's young husband's burial site, (who passed from cancer in his early 40's) ^_^

@Myrtlestew V-good question M. Never any order really, although often in narrative order, if script. I thought of the soldiers at the graveyard, because they were already there. Drawings & composition, with dancers, etc, love hearts....all started at the burial site. We were visiting Bee Goh's (Irene's) late husband's grave. V-emotional day.

I can only echo what Mewtrainer1 amongst others has said about your film - I always find your imagery beautiful but with an underlying soupcon of danger and menace - whether intentional or not it marks your work with a certain sense of style that renders them instantly recognisable as yours - for some reason Ken Russell springs to mind as a possible influence - lets hope you gain more long-term respect from the industry than he has.

Beautiful work Chris, it has such a unique and unnerving mood with the statues, and the people lying around and jolting, love the style. The main distraction was the zoom ins, I find it's best to leave them to small amounts, because it can sometimes cheapen a shot. There's also something nice about the mix of media, with the dancing, it's got a cold video game feel about it, it worked really well with the darkness of the music.
