  • When you have soaked the almonds do you take the skin off? supposedly all the phytic acid is in the skin and you absorb all the zinc then. Very good video btw

  • @JDO9700 no i don't take off the skin. that would be a long process! Thanks! : )

  • "Foods are good for what they look like" - Doctrine of Signatures

  • @zuphu What is the doctrine of signatures?

  • @BeYourPotential watch?v=GEPK4gCblCY

  • You've just answered my six month old question - thank you for making this awesome video Matthew!

  • Ask Doug Graham....

  • It's all wrong....never soak nut's and seeds....everyone has this from books.....no animal does this. Do you wonder why?

  • Great Vid

  • what you think of the idea of doing daily enemas for cleaning Matthew? as part of your ordinary health regime i mean.. :)

  • @0wenfox Some people need them more than others. if the diet is right then and the bowels are functioning well then not so necessary, but in times of trouble can be a lifesaver.

  • hahaha "that's just nuts" :)

  • Do you de-shell them before or after soaking?

  • @anyusernamesleftest Hi, de-shell them first and then soak. :-)

  • Thanks a lot. Ive been soaking my almonds for quite a while now but i never knew you had to soak walnuts or brazilnuts. or pumkin seeds for that matter.

do you have to soak them individualy if they require the same amount of time for soaking? like Brazil & Walnuts for instance.

  • @POLlyy23 I don't think it matters if you soak them together or not. Just rinse them after soaking.

  • nuts are also very high in omega6 which is not a good thing

  • woah it's like you read my mind, I was actually going to google that for a while now and then this pops up in my sub box :)

    thankssss for the video!

  • Next to hemp protein powder, pumpkin seed protein powder is my next favourite. My old grandad when I was a kid always had a silver plate with walnuts and acorns and others and a big metal nut cracker sitting on the sideboard in the dining room.

  • Do i have to eat the seeds or nuts straight after i soak them or could i take them to work when finished and eat them during lunch or something?

  • @GOFFCLE Yes that would be fine. if you leave them too long and don't re-rinse then they will mould. But just one day is fine.

  • your digestive system isn't a fan of nuts and seeds. just use the seed milk. forget the pulp.

  • @inkandfruit why is that?

  • Gracias amigo

  • great!

  • Very good thanks...

  • I buy cashew butter and almond butter and eat them almost everyday!
