I still use Fs9 and i love it.... One compelling reason for this is because of the dreamfleet 727... I can not get bored of that plane/addon ... Its everything the classic airliner enthusiast.could ask for .. That aside, I dont recon this "FLIGHT" game is going to be anything special... I want to know what the former developers are doing (you know the ones that microsoft fired) .. Last i heard they were teaming up with lamina research..

Okay I need some help. I downloaded some addon scenery of iraq for a video, and when I start the game the ground shows as black and other strange colors. Someone please help me! Quick! Ill give you credit in the video too!

@xbeast133 perhaps you have to add it in scenery library in fsx and if it is there then check if it is the first in the row i dont know what else to do sorry you may want to make a video of the problem

I just hope that they didn't remove too much realism from it, I don't want unrealistic flying physics and that bullshit.

It still should be a SIMULATOR, although they removed that part from the title now...

@shall2001, I want ms to keep them coming, but at the same time, I think most people expect at least a reasonable upgrade to the look of the simulator after 4 years. If it's not at least reasonably improved, it's going to be lacking. I don't expect it to look real as we are a long way from that. High end PC's are now a lot faster, graphics cards have improved, we are on DX11, so hopefully they release something good.

tHIS IS legit i can guarantee you that. The flight simulator series have been dropped, the architecture is old and unrealiable. This is new, fresh, your going to love it, can say no more :)

The fps in this game is bad even in the trailer. This was probably one of the worst trailers I've ever seen to, way to short. Not to mention there isn't really any gameplay in this game, all you do is take off and land. Being in an airplane is the most boring thing in the world.

This looks like a 3d cinematic render to me, not actual game play. Sorry, I don't trust MS bloatware anymore after the fsx travesty, and Xplane still looks like garbage....I guess desktop flight sims are going extinct.....

@poeticmind74 in my opinion x plane is just better in flight dynamics .... the cocpits of fsx have more detail ! if you like the visual effects more then yes fsx is better for you ! in addition x plane's colours are darker . when it comes sometimes fsx's graphics are better that x plane's thats why i would choose fsx ! i have played both and i have to say that this is my personal opinion ! thanks for your comment
