i want to hear all the underground shit that these artists inspired ...
Im glad I can still listen to music like this on the internet and dont have to be subjected to the poor excuse for music never mind hip hop of modern capitalist society...
@oxfordkingpin24 A style is a style. Just because one went mainstream with it doesnt mean they started it. That rhyme cadence speaks for a whole section of Brooklyn, not just one or even two people.
I always liked Tef, but this shit is kinda weak. His rhymes are as always, delivered with that feriocity but the beat and chorus betrays him. The AZ similiarity? When you hear him on a First Fam song, that's the last cat I would think of but in this video - hell yes.
I gave this kid no props when he first came out cause I thought he was trying to be on that "big willie" style shit that was out at the time. But Teflon is mad underrated. he got skills
Does anyone have a copy of this album? I have been trying to look for this album on vinyl or CD for years! I love the production on this song. M.O.P. baby!
Man I'm glad to see some peoples give this joint props! I still have like 3 snippet tapes for this album back when I was on a street team. I got this cd cheap online I think I got it on amazon, I always liked this album not many songs on it just enough not to be an EP, but its still dope.
One of my fav songs from the 90's. It took me almost five years to find it and download it. Never though I would find the video but now I did so this si dope. By the way Tef this whole album was backed by MOP and he still comes out in their joints once in a while.
remember that joint Nigga WHAt can anybody find that and post it cuz that song is fire and ironicially me and tef are from the same hood b ville but we were enemies but i love that song
i remember when i 1st heard this song, i recorded the video off of rap city and then recorded on a tape. i was jammin this song damn near everyday!! classic '97 shit! 10th grade!
I agree with all of you...this song/video/album was a classic. Big homie never got his due honors. This song was some real motivating shyt...I also remember when I first saw the premiere on Rap City (back in the Joe Clair days).
This joint was hot. I bought the single on CD back in 97 and it had the instrumental and another hot song called Rawness wit M.O.P. straight fire. Thanks for posting this real shit.
man i havent seen this video in almost 10 years!! i rocked this joint since i 1st heard it on rap city!! this is classic shit right here!! mad props for providing the realness on this here!
