  • Sun tan lotion brought me here...??

  • did you use some kind of de-shaker or stabilizer or however you call these things? cause whenever i use a lens with more than 20mm, i get all shaky shots... also did you decrease the noise in after effects?

  • EXCELENT!!!! AWESOMENESS!! INCREDIBLE!! Very amazing shot, is unbelievable the quality of shooting the scenes, the way it captured every shot, is pretty incredible, congratulations, I'm already decided that buying DSLR.

  • I really like your attention to detail. My favorite shots are:

    0:07

    1:12

    2:01

    2:17

    4:57

  • Very Impressive im gonna get one.

  • Did you use the stock lenses or other lenses? Which editor did you use?

  • When is this going to be done?! I CANT wait for it! :D

  • very very nice!

  • Great job.I love it.

  • Beautiful photography. Love the shallow DOF and bokeh. Well done.

  • i coudlnt believe that a d90 shot this, but then i saw the behind the scenes. so were did you get a good deal of the steak knives?

  • @XboxLiveChamp haha! on dealnews [dot] com

  • @SabiPictures also in the behind the scenes, someone was holding a microphone. was it for the d90, because i thought the d90 didnt have a microphone input. or did you record it with something else and just replace the sound from the video clip?

  • @XboxLiveChamp exactly that was a standalone recorder called a Zoom H2.

  • @SabiPictures man that sorta sucks that means you have sync every video scene. But you have to, the d90 mic is very bad.

  • @XboxLiveChamp google something called "PluralEyes". If you're working in Final Cut Pro it syncs everything for you in less than a minute.

  • nice!

  • like it!

  • Is it true, that you have used an Nikona D90 to make this movie?

  • Hey... I made a video myself on D90 i would love some feedback since Im not done editing it but your advice would be great on it ....

  • bummer i could have required rights to it would have been great for a short that im making.... DAMN..... thanks anyway

  • @GmanVid the music in this short was composed specifically for it by him. but i'm sure if you contacted DEKLUN thru his web site, he'd be down for discussing any projects you may have. He's cool like that. :) Good luck!!!!

  • what music was at the beginning

  • @GmanVid the music is by a musician named DEKLUN. his web site is deklun (dot) com

  • I just looked over their website but which track was the one used in the beginning of the movie ..... love your movies by the way

  • hey Gman, the music in question was some original stuff that was created solely for the film. so, you wouldn't really find it, in the form of a track, on Deklun's website. cheers. =)

  • did you shoot with free hand!!cuz i heard shooting movies in free hand is pain in a A**!

  • what was the music in the beginning?

  • that was stunning!

  • The image quality is excellent. How did you get sound? Sees as if you did a hella amount of dubbing and minimal dialogue.

  • lighting and framing are great. enjoyed it!

  • luvly! I like the photography.

  • Great film!

How did you lock exposure in movie mode?

  • there's an auto lock function... just find the right exposure and press the button. You have to go to the menu of course and activate it. but it works.

  • Ride the wave.

  • when you change your aperture, will this be seen on the movie? and things like ISO? And how did you reduce the noise?

    THanks

  • How did you manage to get so clean pictures in the low light

  • beautiful film! love the atmosphere and colours, and also brilliant bokeh!!

what lens did you use in the first two shots of the film?

  • Awesome cinematography... reminded me of Lost in Translation.

  • hi which lense did you use? 12-24mm?

  • Damn! that gives me so much hope for my D90!
