My mother had a leash for both my brother and I when I was young. I am almost 50 now and it did us no harm at all.  My mother had to use them to keep us from disturbing other people. We were little hyper brats like every kid. I find this neither funny nor mean. This is a parent being responsible with their kid. We really need a lot more of that in the world today

But when I took all three of my children to the theme park one day and turned my back to check on the older two, just to have the youngest fall headfirst from his stroller which I had buckled him securely into not minutes before that well I rethought my position on them. The next time I took them to that theme park I bought one of the leashes that serve as backpacks too. He liked it, because he could walk and carry juice.
