I find it sad that I only heard Red Hot today while I was on a flight back to my home town today..

I didn't know he had passed. I first heard "Red Hot" several years ago. I couldn't believe a song that good hadn't charted. later I found out it would have, except Sam Phillips had to put all his resources at that moment into Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire".

Those early Rockabilly guys were a breed apart. It was either make music or pick cotton.
