@buffedanimal359 I disagree, I thought they both had a lot of focus on those characters. due to being in ME1, a lot more time was able to be spent exploring the characters themselves (That otherwise had to be used to introduce the personality and story of the other characters). Tali's Loyalty Mission introduces the Geth/Quarian war restarting (which will be important in ME3), both become romance options which.....(continued in next post)

Over two games you got to see the relationship grow and develope, much in the way it would in real life. Bioware has said you will have a smaller squad in ME3 so more effort can be put to focus on those character. Both Tali and Garrus are confirmed to be squad mates in ME3, so they should get even more focus then

@Rabbitfish87 - Mass Effect Wikia claims that she'll be joinable. Also, depending on fact who survived on Virmire in ME1, Ashley or Kaidan will join you in ME3 as well, because Shepard won't be in Cerberus anymore.
And ME2 is a lot easier to 100% than a lot of other games, and if you do her mission right and have a high paragon or renegade score, then everything should work in your favor. Besides, there are plenty of videos on YouTube that tell you how to keep everyone alive at the end.

on the loading screen for one of the Hint Captions it says you will be able to load your Mass Effect 2 character to 3. If you play the game you will see it, and there is probably somewhere out there a screenshot. Bioware did the samething with ME 1 so why not ME2?

I got ME2 but will not play it. Pausing is just not right. it's cheating! If I'm the enemy, I'll be pissed off and call it quits. I am not fighting with cheaters who pauses and try to find the best way to kill me!!! RPG pausing is a big BS. I know this can be disabled but how about getting rid of it in next release. The zombies in L4D2 will go berserk if I ever pause in a heart beat. PAUSING is so BS.

from what I've gathered you can pretty much recap all the events from ME that matters in ME2 anyway, so you just gotta remember what choices you char made and you're good to go
Hey I just beat ME1 but was only level 31 and I thought I couldn't continue to play so I deleted the saves and started a new class...my question is, can u continue after u complete it? Also, can all of your skills and party member skills be maxed out by level 60?

Damn i wanted to be in the flowtila in the first game.. now i'm really can't wait to play.. it seems they added here every thing which was missing in the first game..
I played a game with Ashley & Garrus as my party members and it was pretty easy. Everyone had HMWA assault rifles & sniper rifles (never used the shotgun & pistol) and I switched between Shredder VII & Tungsten VII ammo which deals 40% additional dammage to organics & synthetics. They all fell like flies. Oh and about 75% into the game, I manage to equipe Ash & Shepard with Heavy Colossus X armors. Garrus had the medium Colossus X armor. Kick ass!
Sorry, the sniper rifles wre HMWSR. Luckily, the HMW line of rifles are pretty common. The Colossus IX and X are hard to get, so I was lucky. The Predator H armors are really good aswell, but I find them ugly compared to the Colossus. That's what Ash and Garrus had before I managed to get to additional Colossus armors.
Oh yeah warning for all the ectreme players... It is said you can DIE at the end of this game and there will be no way to bring your character back in ME3. Also is Ashley in this one? She was so awesome in many ways lol..
yeah but apparantly because me 2 is set 2 years after me1 shes no longer with you shes ranked high in alliance command, thats if you saved her in me1 but as to weather shes in your sqaud fuck knows, youve got miranda to slap about a bit lol

Hey I just beat ME1 but was only level 31 and I thought I couldn't continue to play so I deleted the saves and started a new class...my question is, can u continue after u complete it? Also, can all of your skills and party member skills be maxed out by level 60?

Everyone is pretty much kickass if you level them up youself and know how to use their strengths. Hadn't had any problems with any party member.

lol well true but when you play as a soldier and then put another soldier into the party you are limiting your abilities to function as a team....

I played a game with Ashley & Garrus as my party members and it was pretty easy. Everyone had HMWA assault rifles & sniper rifles (never used the shotgun & pistol) and I switched between Shredder VII & Tungsten VII ammo which deals 40% additional dammage to organics & synthetics. They all fell like flies. Oh and about 75% into the game, I manage to equipe Ash & Shepard with Heavy Colossus X armors. Garrus had the medium Colossus X armor. Kick ass!

Sorry, the sniper rifles wre HMWSR. Luckily, the HMW line of rifles are pretty common. The Colossus IX and X are hard to get, so I was lucky. The Predator H armors are really good aswell, but I find them ugly compared to the Colossus. That's what Ash and Garrus had before I managed to get to additional Colossus armors.

Oh yeah warning for all the ectreme players... It is said you can DIE at the end of this game and there will be no way to bring your character back in ME3. Also is Ashley in this one? She was so awesome in many ways lol..

yeah but apparantly because me 2 is set 2 years after me1 shes no longer with you shes ranked high in alliance command, thats if you saved her in me1 but as to weather shes in your sqaud fuck knows, youve got miranda to slap about a bit lol
