  • Working at a cemetary would INCREASE my anxiety ;-P

  • I can totally understand that! :) Just don't watch any scary movies before going to work! LOL

  • Good work on all this. I graduated from college back in December but I haven't found a job yet. A lot of it is because of how strong my anxiety is. I've only been able to apply for a few things.

I'm supposed to call this place about working at the airport not far from where I live as a security officer. Basically to just make an appointment to take the computer test (the 1st step) so I really hope I can call today or tomorrow.

  • Well, good luck with it all! You can do it! The fact that you're considering it means you probably can. You're already past step #1

  • Thanks. I actually ended up calling Tuesday afternoon and made an appointment for tomorrow (Monday) at 3:30.

  • Awesome! High-5!! That's step#2. You're well on your way. Good luck tomorrow!

  • I need to find a job as well, but I'm 18 and out of high school.

  • Hey Seth. I can totally relate to the whole anxiety with interviews and job searching and what not. Just remember to breathe and let the feelings float by. :) I am wishing you the very best of luck :)

  • Thanks. :) Floating those feelings has been the most challenging part, but I'm getting better at it.

  • Your wife seems to be very supportive of you. How does she deal with your anxiety? Does she ever become frustrated? Hope you get the job!

  • She handles it very well these days. Check out my video "Married life with anxiety" #45. I hope I get that job too. I could totally see myself working there.

  • Good Luck on your job search!

    Hope your doing well!

  • Thanks. :) Doing better these days.

  • Oh Ho! It's hair cut time!! I remember watching the last time you cut your hair. You look good :)

The interview i did for my job was brutal. I was shaking on the inside. My heart was pounding and i thought i was going to pass out. But i am sure when it comes to interview time for you, you will be just fine. Like I always tell you seth...you're a trooper. I liked the getting dressed part. lol! I wish i could do that every morning! I would sleep a extra 10 mins if i could do that!

  • Thanks for having faith in me (that I'll do well at the first interview that comes along). :) I look at it this way too; If I was able to interview the mayor for that past video, I should be able to hold up to a job interview.

  • Hey, best of luck on your job search! it is stressful but then again so is any form of change. In the end it will be so worth it!

  • Worth it indeed! Having money coming in again will ease those financial worries. Even more so in this economic climate.

  • A cemetery would be a good place to work if you wanted to avoid people...unless the zombie apocalypse happens--then, you're kinda screwed.

Good Luck with the job search!

  • Well the anxiety makes us fear a lot of things, but fortunately I aint scared of zombies. They move real slow. I could outrun them with no effort whatsoever and I know a Kung Fu/Karate martial arts mix that would put the zombies back in the ground! lol
