  • Yesssss !!!!!

  • Really good remake definitely gonna give them that

  • Well that was complete crap. What a stuff up of a classic Beatles song.

  • @MrJohndl Check the studio version. OK, maybe I'm a bit biased here, actually, the Yes version was the first time I heard this song, was never really a big the Beatles fan. More into Czerwone Gitary and Czerwono Czarni... :)

    1:35 - it's classical musa, yo!

  • @PrZemek44

When I hear someone say "I was never a Beatles fan" I have to wonder just how far up their ass their taste in music is. LOL

  • @MrJohndl

THE Pink Floyd revolutionized modern music, but what do you know about Syd Barrett, Mr Guitarist? Your 'god' McCartney said that his band 'went where The Beatles tried but failed'. Now go back to your Bowie and U2, son... They've done tons of 'important music'.

    Geez.... :)

  • @PrZemek44

It's not about who we prefer - I love PInk Floyd by the way. Historically, the Beatles were a 'one-off' phenomenon, never to be repeated. McCartney (and Lennon) are considered the most successful songwriters ever. Cheers.

  • @MrJohndl

Simple music, crappy lyrics, lousy drummer... Still, it's a pretty good band. This itself is a miracle :) But to question somebody's taste if he's not a fan?

'Historically'? The Beach Boys are supposed to be better than... some amazing bands that REALLY changed the music, Led Zep, Black Sabbath, SYD'S Pink Floyd, Yesss... At the time, some critics suggested that there were dozens of bands like The Beatles... Charisma? Luck? Who cares, enjoy...

  • @PrZemek44

The Beatles are the most successful musical group in history. They have sold more records than any other band. They completely changed youth culture in the 1960's. Their music was far from simple. You have no idea what you are talking about. Idiot.

  • @MrJohndl Watch this series and learn something.

Howard Goodalls 20th Century Greats - The Beatles (Part 1)

  • @MrJohndl

I assume, it's for me. Is that how you 'learn music'?

  • @PrZemek44

You've missed the point entirely. It's not about what you (or I) personally like - it's about the influence that the Beatles had on every musical artist that came after them. They completely changed the face of popular music. BTW what has U2 got to do with anything? Anyway, have a great year. Bye:)

  • @MrJohndl

I didn't question your taste based on what you think about Yes... Or any other band.

    Thanx, same to you.

    PS. Can't believe it's not you who's 3x older... :)

  • @MrJohndl

Sorry, maby 2.5... Didn't want to offend you.

  • @MrJohndl

How many records have a Monkey Pedo Jackson sold? Wait for Lady-Bieber-Gaga-another monkey... What's your point?

Not simple? Compared to... say, Led Zep? Somehow you get their music... Talking lyrics and Ringo, even their fans ONCE agreed. NOW, he's considered one of 5 best?! (I just 'learned' and...:))......:)

C'mon, U2 fan, seriously, let's talk about Elvis.

  • Yes is voor mij nog steeds de beste band allertijden

  • This recording sounds like it has been speeded up by about 1/3. I am astonished that this has been on YouTube for almost a year and no one has noticed . Compare this version to the 5:32 min one from the same album also posted by TheSelectorsOriginal. It has the correct pitch and actually sounds like Jon Anderson's voice.

  • prefer the beatlesversion..

  • Yeah...I know this version is peter Banks not Howe....be sure to listen to the Howe version...

  • YES does this song better than the original. Howe is an improvement over Harrison...Anderson/Squire likewise over Lenin/McCartney....The Beatles were great...but musically YES was on a different planet!!!

  • @202Hollywood

This song is NOT better than the original. Comparing guitar playing ability is a complete waste of time, but McCartney was an awesome bass player and a genius songwriter. The Beatles completely revolutionized modern music. Yes didn't do anything important. Geez...

  • @202Hollywood

'On a different planet' - ditto! and just a few years later.

  • I can't say I'd get this over the original, but it is one of the most interesting treatment of Beatles material I have heard.

  • This is my favorite Beatles cover of all times, and I don't tend to like covers. I have loved this since I heard it on my Pandora, back before they sold out and started sucking big balls

  • Yes' first album was like nothing else they did. It has a special place w/ me.
