@Doughnut527 The sound depends on your guitar, your distortion pedal, your way of playing and many more factors. Also, I did use Cubase for recording and processing, but it does not have any "make cool sound" feature, you must do all the work by yourself, depending on what you hear.

Well, the appearance of both guitars is almost the same, but the difference is huge. GRG guitars are made in Indonesia (instead of Korea), and they has pickups that are worse than RG's INF pickups. Also, GRG170 does not have a locking nut, so your tuning will mess up every time you use the whammy bar. I wouldn't recommend GRGs to anyone, RGs are much better and not so expensive.

Well certain parts of the song don't really have a lead guitar part so you can do what you want there. I looked at his tab and it is indeed musically correct in whats being played in the background. But yeah, you might play something different, but it still works right?

Anyway your tone is kind of tinny and thin but HEY, great playing man, it was a good listen :)
