No man,i didnt live under a rock...i just couldnt remember the name of the movie...i want to download it and watch it again...cause the last time i watched was many years ago...
al pcino, is great actor, great personality, i gues he is Good Human. Al Pcino we r love u, plz give us just one more movie. u r Gentleman. The Bst Movie Scent of a woman. we need ur Art More.
Al Pacino should've received more Oscars man...but as I read somewhere, the Oscars can be fixed too...so, we all know how good he is anyway. He should've received an award for Godfather Part 2 and some other of his movies. A piece of metal describe an actor's talent.
As good as this movie is, my favorite scene is here at the end when Ms Downes meets Col. Slade. Its the most tear dropping scene in the whole movie. I love looking in her eyes as she is fascinated and puzzled at the same time when she encounters Frank. Its my favorite scene in ever. I dont know why, but it is.
there is nothing like the sight of an amputated soul.. there was a time I could see, and I have seen amazing lines spoken they dont make movies like this anymore classic and beautiful lines very descriptive of life
@mtm0815 : Are you kidding me? Al Pacino, underrated? He's widely regarded as one of the best, if not THE best actor of the last 40 years in American cinema, along with de Niro.
You don't know what out of order is Mr. Trask! I would show you but I am too old, I'm to tired and I am too fuckin blind. If I was the man I was 5 years ago, I take a flame thrower to this place.
im not trying to be spiritualistic here or anything, but can anyone else just feel that something phenomenal is about to happen the SECOND pacino opens his mouth!?
can't stop watching this. is it just me, or do clips like this make people feel....something so much more than when watching a clip tagged "hilarious" etc. granted, they are completely incomparable (lol) but watching a scene like this (and so many others from pacino/de niro) make me feel infinitely "better" than, say, a video of people falling over. duno. anyone?
"Out of order? I show you out of order! You dont know what out of order is Mr. Trask! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, I'm too fucking blind. If I were the the man I was five years ago id take a FLAMETHROWER to this place!!!"
I love that line. I love the intensity of pacino when he says it :) thanks for posting 5/5.
"As I came in here, I heard those words: cradle of leadership. Well, when the bow breaks, the cradle will fall; and it has fallen here. It has fallen!! Makers of men, creators of leaders: be careful what kind of leaders you're producing here."
@daleahill Just look at the audience during the final applause to the outcome of the disciplinary proceeding: the boys (who have to endure the school, its methods and Trask), are all on their feet, cheering wildly; the adults, parents and relatives who have to pay the Baird school tuition fees., are sitting, perplexed, looking around and at each other... of course, they are part of the Establishment and would have liked that Trask had it his way... Gheorghij
"And that, my friends, is called integrity! That's called courage! Now that's the stuff leaders should be made of. Now I have come to the crossroads in my life. I always knew what the right path was. Without exception, I knew. But I never took it. You know why? It was too damn hard. Now here's Charlie. He's come to the crossroads. He has chosen a path. It's the right path. It's a path made of principle -- that leads to character..."
"What kind of a show are you guys putting on here today? I mean, the class in this 'act' is sitting next to me, and I'm here to tell you this boy's soul is intact; it's non-negotiable. You know how I know? Someone here, and I'm not gonna' say who, offered to buy it. Only Charlie here wasn't selling."
Every time I see this movie or clips from it it moves me its so fantastic ,amazing Al did it justice by taking the role and acting in this movie , amazing and briliant
"I don't know if Charlie's silence here today is right or wrong; I'm not a judge or jury. But I can tell you this: he won't sell anybody out to buy his future! And that, my friends, is called Integrity; that's called Courage. Now that's the stuff leaders should be made of."

underrated by Oscar
Stallone is a good actor, no kidding

@mtm0815 Underrated by the academy awards? He has been nominated 8 times and won 1 time. How is that underrated?
