Ask any Palestinian about the ‘Nakba’. This new expression has become part of the glue to the Palestinian narrative. The Nakba, or disaster, is how the Arab world refers to the establishment of the Jewish State of Israel on 15th May, 1948. It only found expression in recent years as a rewriting of a false Palestinian history. It is a historic mistake that must be rectified. It is as if they controlled the land before 1948 and deserve to have it back. Untrue!

@avikau You use the word contol as if it grants entitlement. Can we now look at the entire world in those terms and simply take what is not under some kind of bureaucratic control. Just claim "uncontrolled" land as our own, toss out the inhabitants and do what we wish?

I read an article on how the Israeli leader is negative to the idea of an independent Palestine, makes you wonder if Israel is even on board.

But yes I agree about the fact that Palestine has to get rid of the radicalism.

But still I doubt Israel will be as cooperative as it should be to gain total peace.

@MrMember3 The personal opinions of politicians is kind of beside the point, there have been repeated peace offers over the past twenty years. Clinton spent weeks trying to get Palestine to accept a deal, but Palestine has to recognize Israel's borders and legitimacy as a Nation which has yet to happen. Palestine needs to get Iran out of it's affairs and reign in Hamas, because they don't care about the Palestinian people anyway they're just tools to them.

I don't think it's fair labeling all Palestinians. Gaza has around 400,000 citizens with 2000-3000 hamas militants. I've heard tons of stories from Palestinians who want nothing but peace.

But I can't see any peace between the two until Israel allows Palestine to become it's own independent state, pulls out all settlers and soldiers from Palestinian territories and promises to stop meddling in.

30,000 ppl lost their jobs due to Israeli laws. That's how hamas militants come to be.

insted of declaring palestine the arab world declared a holy jihad on the jews and im sure i dont need to tell u what happens to non muslems that a jihad was declared on them(and its not self strugle) so it wasnt clensing it was war and in the war israel expanded from the un borders and did expale those who threatend to destroy them but if a war was declared opun u and u win it, why do u need to apologise for it?
