@bobx2x2 Actually, it's not a fact. Nobody knows with absolute certainty what happens after death. There is a very strong possibility that nothing happens after death and no evidence thus far disproves this notion though.

In fact whenever used in the New Testament the Anglo-Saxon word 'hell' is a mistranslation of the original Greek word 'Gehenna' which was an actual place just outside of Jerusalem originally a place where wicked pagan rituals took place, then during Jesus' time turned into a garbage dump known to burn for days trash. He was cast out of heaven (not to hell) because He rebelled against God with 1/3 of the angels trying to be God. I think you're confusing the Bible with the quran. Catholics created their religion mixed with Pagan traditions, and use their religion in connection with world governments to control societies, but true Christianity knows that there exists both heaven and hell. There are christian churches all over that have people performing miracles, just like in the time of Jesus. This priest is a hypocrite and will burn in hell with the rest of them, unless he repents.
If someone killed anyone close to me, of course, I would want to see that person dead. I'm an emotional human. But God is supposed to be better than me. If he is all loving, of course he will forgive. A loving god would not punish, he would rehabilitate. A loving god would not throw someone in a pit of fire, he would seek to understand and maybe right the wrongs that made this person so unstable in the first place. He would not create a place of eternal pain and suffering. Would you?
@jonea16 I agree with you and that would seem unfair. Like you said, God is supposed to be better than we, and so he is. God is not only loving, he is also just. Meaning he is fair, and justice needs to be served. If a judge were to not convict the murderer of your family but sent him to rehab, he wouldn't be a fair judge right? But God loved us so much he took all those bad things in us and put it on himself and became sin for us and nailed it to the cross so we can be set free in Jesus.

@jonea16 I see how you can come to that conclusion. The Bible throughout mentions that the human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked beyond cure. So that tells me that only because someone abused me growing up doesn't mean I can go around killing people and say it wasn't my fault. If someone can't believe or refuse to believe that in the beginning God created, then anything else under the sun is unbelievable, heaven, hell, etc. God will not force anyone to believe in him. No one can argue or talk someone else in believing in God. One day you may want to ask yourself, if I rob a bank or kill someone and get caught, what will my punishment be? There is also a moral law as well and it's inside you, your conscience. We are all guilty of something, that punishment is required.

If someone killed your family and the the judge let them slide because he felt sorry for them, would you think that is justice? If you wanted your wife or girlfriend to love you for who you were not because you made them love you by force, wouldn't that be true love? He was cast out of heaven (not to hell) because He rebelled against God with 1/3 of the angels trying to be God. I think you're confusing the Bible with the quran. The Judge sentences his own son to death instead of sentencing you. The Judge says you are free to go because my son will pay the price for your crime. If someone killed anyone close to me, of course, I would want to see that person dead. I'm an emotional human. But God is supposed to be better than me. If he is all loving, of course he will forgive. A loving god would not punish, he would rehabilitate. A loving god would not throw someone in a pit of fire, he would seek to understand and maybe right the wrongs that made this person so unstable in the first place. He would not create a place of eternal pain and suffering. Would you?

Meaning he is fair, and justice needs to be served. If a judge were to not convict the murderer of your family but sent him to rehab, he wouldn't be a fair judge right? But God loved us so much he took all those bad things in us and put it on himself and became sin for us and nailed it to the cross so we can be set free in Jesus.

If he was sexually abused as a child, I wouldn't hate, I would pity, in spite of his deed. Even then, I can see love and wisdom in preserving life and breaking the chain of death. @jonea16 I see how you can come to that conclusion. The Bible throughout mentions that the human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked beyond cure. So that tells me that only because someone abused me growing up doesn't mean I can go around killing people and say it wasn't my fault. That's why Jesus had to die in your place because you wouldn't have a chance to stand on your own. It wasn't meaningless because you are too important to him.

If someone can't believe or refuse to believe that in the beginning God created, then anything else under the sun is unbelievable, heaven, hell, etc. God will not force anyone to believe in him. No one can argue or talk someone else in believing in God. One day you may want to ask yourself, if I rob a bank or kill someone and get caught, what will my punishment be? There is also a moral law as well and it's inside you, your conscience. We are all guilty of something, that punishment is required.

If someone killed your family and the the judge let them slide because he felt sorry for them, would you think that is justice? Try again: When I was 17, taking the high school senior world history class, the teacher taught us about the origins of the Three "Great" Religions (J,C&I) and he basically said that they came about because men's behavior needed to be controlled. That was really the first time I ever thought about that issue and within a week I became an atheist. Videos like this are a start in the right direction.
