I thought this finale was perfect, it showed what happened when you aren't there for people you consider family, and what that can do. It sets up a great future arc.
If you remember the season finale before this one, LUCIFER killed Cass the exact same way, he even snapped his fingers the same way. Clearly, Castiel has become Lucifer 2.0.
I've missed so much of this show. Last episode I saw was when Lucifer rose and my curiosity of how he looked and the plot afterwards brought me here :D

So from their POV, if he lied about that, what else did he lie about? I don't know why everyone hates this storyline. This was easily my favorite season finale. Oh by the way I'm a straight guy and I love this show. His part in the apocalypse is a silly dead end debate. The fact is we all know that in canon Dean and sam helped start it. They all helped end it, so that should be the end of it. As for Cas and the Crowley thing - Raph is a threat. He is as powerful as Micheal which makes him threat. The boys could have just spent their time trying to kill crowley and Raph instead of Cas. Since Cas is the one who is no threat! He may have opened a lil hole in hell, but there were already demons running around.
@FayeChan01 You only wish it is an end debate, but as long as writers keep the angel storylines it isn't. The brothers did try to kill Crowley but Cas interfered. First by never telling them they were actually working for Crowley, Caged Heat Cas faked Crowley's death to throw the brothers off their trail. Then Cas didn't even bother killing Raphael when he captured all heaven weapons and forced Raphael into a retreat after using the brothers as bait and distraction for Raphael's henchman.

Interestingly enough, remember how a lot of people thought that chuck shurley the prophet was God? well according to supernatural wiki, it was confirmed in a n interview that he is, so that leaves an interesting thread lying around.

no no they cant just kill of misha after making this episode, i mean that would serve no purpose to kill him and it would just throw away all remaining main story plot and i probably wouldnt watch this show if they killed him and started up some other shitty story just to extend the series, i would rather have it end in season 7 with a decent ending and good jobs with dean and sam then to have it end in two more years with some pointless bullshit.

His part in the apocalypse is a silly dead end debate. The fact is we all know that in canon Dean and sam helped start it. They all helped end it, so that should be the end of it. As for Cas and the Crowley thing - Raph is a threat. He is as powerful as Micheal which makes him threat. The boys could have just spent their time trying to kill crowley and Raph instead of Cas. Since Cas is the one who is no threat! He may have opened a lil hole in hell, but there were already demons running around.

@FayeChan01 You only wish it is an end debate, but as long as writers keep the angel storylines it isn't. The brothers did try to kill Crowley but Cas interfered. First by never telling them they were actually working for Crowley, Caged Heat Cas faked Crowley's death to throw the brothers off their trail. Then Cas didn't even bother killing Raphael when he captured all heaven weapons and forced Raphael into a retreat after using the brothers as bait and distraction for Raphael's henchman.

If you're going to commit to one then you better realize the other is there. My issue is Cas never took accountability i.e. first words out of his mouth is blaming Dean/Sam despite his own active manipulation of the events leading up the the Apocalypse. You make Cas sound like a poor widdle puppy when in fact he is a powerful being with far more knowledge than what the brothers possess. The brothers can't force Cas to do anything he doesn't agree with.

Sam fights Dean for equal partnership but realistically that's never going to happen. Cas just ignores or flies away when ever he doesn't want to be bothered by Dean.

The fact the king of hell (Lucifer) cannot get himself out of it, is silly in itself. I'm sure Cas will pay his dues next season. Sam had like how many seasons to pay his dues so everyone can stop blaming him. Cas is not a main, he has only been in 2 seasons! Give it time for goodness sake.
