  • Tap It man! woo whoooo!!

Thanks for the lesson. Hey Dave.

  • thats what she said.

  • 11th

  • nice 'satrianic' hat , rock on

  • thanks man

  • i wouldnt be doing a tapping riff while the singing is going

  • You use it to build up momentum for the vocalist to come in strong. It's used a lot in metal. Has to be timed pretty well though.

  • Protest the Hero does kind of a combination, were at one moment a tapping riff is going on in the back ground and then the vocalist comes through very strongly with the instruments, look it up, it's in Bloodmeat

  • I"m sure they do, but I'm not big into Protest The Hero. It's too sweeping and tapping and not enough emotion into the playing. At least for me. I like the combination of technicality and emotion. But they are pretty talented guys, i'll give them that.

  • I can respect that.

  • Agreed, but what you need to also do is check out some of the power ballads that are out there which have a bunch of those techniques in them. I can't remember any names, but they are mind blowing and soulful. If anything, check out the contest entries for the Pettruci soundtrack of the summer entries. Alot of people do that, and that is a power ballad type backing track for it.

  • get it ^^

  • You finally turned that chorus down! It sounds so much better! I can actually listen to your lessons now!

  • im in southern california yea

  • Awesome patterns

  • Hehe Nice!
