people of all ages have feelings and express them in their own way. if this was your way good for you. i happen to think the pictures were good and watched the whole video to see them. mind you i like the song too but i usually put the song on and walk away.
One of my favourite Cure songs. Shame the video looks like the tumblr of a 14year old girl who mistakenly thinks she's lived enough to experience real sadness. I mean, a picture of a black rose and blood? Really?

@MatchesBowie Well, I'm 38 and I feel like "the way the rain comes down hard"... Why make funny of that?, simply you are not in the head of other nor lived the same...
@pathfindercl Being 38 doesn't make this video any less shitty. In fact, it makes it pretty sad. And you're right, "simply I am not in the head of other nor lived the same".
You know how babby is formed right? How gril get pragnant?
@MatchesBowie When I made this video I was 14 years old and it was a very bad time for me. Now I'm 18 and I'm feeling the same, but for different things. When I tought to make this video I simply tried to search images that could explain my emotions and the sadness of the song and I think I did it well. I still love The Cure and I listen them everyday. Maybe there will be other bad times in my life, altought that I'll still be here :)
I think most people can relate to this song. I know I've turned to many Cure songs during the most intense moments of my life: feeling swept away by love, drowned in sorrow, overhwhelmed in despair. But no matter how sad some of the songs may be, they always seem to lift me...
ahaha, when i hear this song i just think of call of duty 2 cause my friend had this cd and it was on his xbox and it came on while we were playing and it was the funniest round ever. The music was perfect.
It's "The Day The World Went Away" LIVE...i'm not even kidding. This sounds almost EXACTLY like the mid-point of the LIVE version of TDTWWA by NIN, from the live AATCHB album. Don't believe me? Listen to it...then the melodies here...they're practically the same.
Right after Trent says "the day the whole world went away" the mid-point hits, and that long beautiful instrumental part plays before he comes back with "nah nah nah..." and the song ends. The tune to this (Anniversary) sounds just like that mid-point of the song, only in a different key and arranged somewhat differently. But they're strikingly similar. Also remember, i'm talking about the LIVE version of the song. Not the one from "The Fragile". But the one from "And All That Could Have Been".
quit moaning about the video everybody loves those pre teen stuff am i right lol?

Melancholy is a nice feeling, you don't need to be sad to get melancholic, you can feel it for just a moment. Brings peace.

Not to be demanding, but could you maybe be more specific? I LOVE both songs. NIN and the Cure are probably my favorite bands.
