anyone finds a lost pigeon first give water, they are damn sometimes they don't drink water even the water in front of them, so force them for water with injector. water first and feeding second, rest the pigeon for 1 to 2 days and let it free after,

I guess cause they will never fly correctly...the get lost? My pigeon buddy is sitting right here next to me but its not the one that was lost..Its the neighbors.."leroy" awesome bird

@232323C standard race is 450km, during the training bird has to fly that much distance, if cant do it then I can give/sell it to somebody or I can keep it for breeding, no one waste time with unsuccessful pigeon. Pigeons lost during 2000km races, when it gets dark they forget what they were doing, sometimes they join with other pigeon groups and go to wrong direction.

Dang a pigeon landed in my back yard its wing were cliped its a male and it wont leave it will sit on my roof and it will come down when i whistle and thro food it has no ring but it can fly good what should i do.

There are racing homing fanciers in Nova Scotia...Check with a seed and feed store in your town, and they will tell you who raises them.
