Ahhhh....pours like honey. Ian intones a baritone Billy Idol at around 3:00. Nice. Bono, the Gallagher Bros., Thom Yorke, and Chris what's his name*...pay heed to the masters: Ian McCulloch and E&TB. Yep - Echo never received the recognition it deserved (as so many others, too) - but maybe for the better - fame would have wrecked the genius (*PS - I actually like Coldplay. I also like the Doors and Ian has paid mucho nods & tribute to Jim Morrison - we all stand on the shoulders of giants.

What a horrible rendition! I remember the first time I heard this song -- listening to KROQ on a hot L.A. summer night, barely awake, then shot up out of bed, mesmerized by the hypnotic rhythm incredible song. I am seen Echo in recent years and Ian does a better job than he does here, but man did he ruin this song.

Great song! Robert Smith is fabulous and is nothing whatsoever like Bunnymen Mac! Listen to Coldplay he is so influenced by Ian McCulloch as are The Verve etc, not a patch on such a brilliant band Bunnymen of the 80's and beyond!!
