Jim Lee must HATE his own Asian race, b/c he keeps on creating White/Black superheroes as if there aren't enough of them out there.

Why doesn't he create COOL Asian American superheroes, I am NOT talking about some Asian guy wielding a sword,ninja or doing martial arts, b/c that has been done to DEATH. The only one I can remember is Grunge, which died out. Give us an Asian American superhero Jim. There are a lot of Asian Americans who read and support your comics.

well its not really his fault its everyones fault. I mean look at japanese comics most of their characters dont even look asian either. Naruto is definately white.

I am sure jim lee does not hate his race. But i do agree with you that there needs to be more Asian superheroes. Its up to the new generation of artist to do it, jim lee enjoys what he does and he is comftable with it.

Thanks for your thoughts, but it truly is his fault just because the Japanese decided to make some characters white doesn't mean Jim isn't capable of creating his own characters who are Asian Americans. BTW most characters are from Japan were originally created as Japanese, but since the arrived to US, it was decided that it they should be White. Thanks for agreeing with me that the fact that we need Asian American superheroes.

lol anime/manga is orginally based on 1940's disney cartoons, so thats why they don't look asian, but i can still see your point on the asian superheroes, that would be cool.

Thanks for the info, like you said anime is based on disney but it doesn't have to look like disney. Who WERE their audience? White, Asians ect?--- Nowadays everyone of color knows what Anime is. So it is catered to Non Asians as well. Have you seen the lame Live action of Fist of the Northstar? Who are they catering to? Can't wait for AKIRA Live action movie---wonder who will be in the lead? How about Last Air Bender? Hmm..

I Strongly encourage you to do that. Let's bring out other ethnic superheroes!!! If I can draw and have the kind of fame like Jim Lee and many other bozos who are ashamed of their own race, I would definitely do it. Aren't you tired of not seeing your race being represented? Instead all we see are White and Black superheroes. Oh NO, the other race can't have super powers is what these people (studios) are thinking. If you are Asian? You MUST carry a sword or do Kung Fu, that is ALL they will do.
